I have a 30 year old rototiller with this same carb. I just now had to replace the pump diaphragm. These are really good and wish they still made them like this. Beautiful restore!!
Absolutely amazing. It looks, and I am sure, functions like a brand new carb. Excellent work... I will have to try and duplicate your hardware plating. Thumbs Up!
Excellent work dude 👏👏👏. Nice to witness it at real-life speed as well 👍👍👍. Looks good as new. Looking forward to seeing it in full working order in the final vid. Thanks man 🙏. 😎
Glad you are zinc coating the bolts on this classic carb those parts of it need to be rust and corrosion proof otherwise it Will be hard to take apart if those parts are not protected from rust and corrosion
Lovely. It would be interesting to see how you tune these. I've invested plenty of swear words into small engine carbs, and have never been able to get them to run well.
I don't know why people paint these carbs. Yes I am going to use this for the belt driven grinder, I have a belt driven water pump that will also be rigged up to it when I need it.
That is the only ones that's available. I have not had any issues with the china diaphragms. Could be the gas you use that's destroying them. You can find NOS diaphragms on ebay sometimes.
@@Pullingtractor If necessary just use a piece of glass or missor for a flat surface, stick medium to fine sand paper to the glass and rub the cover in a circular motion on the sand paper. That will give it a flat enough surface. Also I have never had to do this as the diaphragm acts as a gasket and seals pretty good. If this little cover is warped from the screws you know the owner or guy who put it on does not know what he is doing... at all.
Anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for these old Briggs carbs like this one? I'm obviously not looking in the right places. I have a: 60102-1152-01-88101803 engine with this type carburetor. TIA.

Great job. That carburettor looks so much better without the paint.
I think so too! I don't know why people paint these carbs

Those bolts rust so quickly!
@@AJRestoration you got that right A.J hopefully the zinc helps with the rust for along time if it can tolerate the heat
Fantastic work - love the passivation extra! Really makes the carb pop. Congrats and thank you for the great content!
Thank you for the great comment! I appreciate it!

Good job, a very particular carburector. Greetings from italy
Thank you very much!
Lovely. It would be interesting to see how you tune these. I've invested plenty of swear words into small engine carbs, and have never been able to get them to run well.
It has only one screw to tune it unfortunately, so its pretty easy to find the best setting.
Nice job!
Excellent.
Many thanks!
13:40 does anybody knows whats the part number ? filter and long screw ? i need both plz thank you
What is in the dip tanks?
Awesome job A.J. I’m glad to see you did not paint it. Are you going to use this motor for the grinder

Great work, do you have a recommendation on source for the diaphragm? The super cheap ones from China don't last very long.

I lked it and subscribed brother.
Welcome to the family Chris!
Looks nice, BUT, does it work????
We will have to wait for that haha, still busy with the rest of the engine.
Slow worker. He must be getting paid by the hour.
By the day buddy. I have the world's time. You are lucky this video is not 4 weeks long.

Need an ultrasonic cleaner:-)
@@AJRestoration an aluminum cover will warp rather if someone knows what they are doing or not.
your dichromate is weak
