    Replace the O rings in the power steering pump. Air gets into the system. Honda recommends only there fluid.

      what if the check engine light is on. could the o rings cause that?

      @repzag ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@HanifFree. i doubt the o rings trigger the light to turn in, most likely another issue

    Careful, those bottles of fluid say they’re not recommended for Honda on the back of them. Noticed it waiting in line once

    I have the exact same car/year/problem.A fter alot of people telling me different things like ' its the alternator"...ect ect. Its the O-Rings that go into the power steering pump. I had the Mechanic change them with real Honda ones and boom, fixed ! . He said its a real pain to change (not like on other models) . I'm in Australia and needed to get these parts. If in doubt , tell Honda your VIN number and they will tell you the correct o-rings to get. I added a reservoir code just incase.

    Its not that you need more fluid or anything else. The O-rings will be worn stiff and cracked and its sucking in air.

    Turn the tires hard to one side then to the other side to bleed the bubbles

    with Honda never use after market power steering fluid. Also you'll probably need to replace the O rings cause they probably gone bad and will need to add more fluid soon. sooner or later pump will go bad.

      Never use aftermarket power steering fluid in any Honda! even if it states you can use it in a Honda. Use only the genuine Honda power steering fluid
