LBP is a simple yet nostalgic game, and has simple materials, while LBP 2 has an amazing story, with a normal variety of materials with more additions.
LBP2 has that certain feeling to it; like a very happy/innocent/nostalgic feeling that gives the game a different flavor. It it hands down one of the best Sony games of all time.
I'm crying because of the amazing experiences this game gave me. It made me love creativity and embrace my own weirdness. I loved going to other worlds, meeting other players and experiencing all the weird and crazy things people thought of. It's the players which made this game amazing and I will probably never experience this magic again. Played 1 to 3 from 9 to about 14 and i'm 20 now the music in the opening gets my heart breaking.
Ah the nolstalgia. I remember when I was 7 coming home from my friend's house after playing LBP1 on his PS3, to meet my mom who came home with the brand new limited edition LBP2. Learned how to type, how to advance my vocabulary, how to apply my creativity, this game was most of my childhood. It still hurts remembering the brief period where LBP3 came out and all those millions of people who would make literal masterpieces daily just disappeared. Nothing will proceed this game in it's prime.

Definitely showing this to my kids when I'm older. The soundtrack was so MWAH this game was so underrated and I spent hours upon hours on it snacking people around and making random stuff that never worked but it was always nice to try.

Ill argue that this was the best out of the three LBPs. LBP1 was Nostalgic, and LBP3 was inventive, but LBP2 had everything going for it. 3 was very buggy, and 1 just didn't have as much components like 2, such as Sackbot and more tools.

Biggest mistake I ever made. Not played LBP since then 😭 I mean PS3s aren’t expensive. I could easily just get one. Still regret selling it tho.
Even now this game still hold my heart and childhood sure it was hard and very stressful on me but at least it’s more exciting than LBP1 and LBP3.
I know why most of us are here.
