- The Gulf War is one of the most important and also, as it turns out, one of the most one-sided, wars in modern memory. In this video, we'll see how Saddam Hussein took over Iraq, how his failed invasion of Iran led to the invasion of Kuwait, and how the United States eventually built a coalition of more than 30 countries to go liberate Kuwait.

Loved the video. Thank you.
This is so cool! The best explanation!❤
Dang, this summarises Operation Desert Storm very nicely
The coalition is not led by the u.s, it was led by Saudi arabia and at first it was an Islamic countries coalition including Malaysia Indonesia, Pakistani Bangladesh and Egypt & Morocco and also all gulf countries, and the Saudi needed help from the Americans and bush said “you start the attack and I’ll follow you” so when Saudi Arabia started the attack with all Muslim&Arab countries the Americans send their troops and went with Saudis, intelligence agencies was untied, troops, air defences, all of them marching towards Kuwait
Not to mention that the US and the KSA had an agreement back in the 20s or 30s it was similar to the Japanese and Korean agreement, the US needed to defend them in each war, and that’s exactly why the US&Saudi relations in it worst times bc the Americans choose to take back their troops from Yemen, and to be frank Americans needs the Saudis by their side because if they aren’t the US is no longer a superpower country, now the Saudis determine who can be the superpower and where is the world pole
Well… had the US pulled their troops out of Saudi Arabia once the gulf war ended maybe Bin Laden wouldn’t have targeted the US on 9/11… Saudi prob wouldn’t have minded them leaving either
the information is great but the narrators tone, pace, and voice is very unpleasant.
Yeah they’d be better off using AI
