- We are continuing our series of animated historical videos on the modern wars with the Six-Day War of 1967, also known as the Third Arab-Israeli War during which Israel fought the alliance of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq. This conflict entered history as short, but decisive, as it took less than a week for hostilities to start and end, and was mostly decided in the air.

Russia deceived the gullible in the middle east because they wanted to know how strong and tough Israel was then and the gullible thought numbers meant much only to realize that Israel is no toy gun.
The same tactics is still going on in the world and the gullible still remain gullible till date. Just look at Syria and what is happening there, Syria has become a testing ground for new weapons to the detriment of the Syrian people just like the Soviet union did during the six days war, but Israel was too swift to wrap and waste their plan.
Listen, the aircrafts destroyed by IDF were supplied by the Soviet union and all the weapons Egyptian military used during the war. Soviet simply planned the war to test their weapons ok, that was the reason they gave the gullible Egypt false alarm alias prank of the century knowing they already have hatred and animosity against the state of Israel and they foolishly bought it to their regret.
Don't hate someone to the point of allowing yourself to be deceived it is foolishness to do so.

Fun fact: While Israel jets were busy destroying the Egyptian airforce, egyptians were celebrating in the streets shouting 'death to all the jews' because their media told them that the Israelis were almost destroyed by them and that their bombers and artillery were bombing Israel cities. According to the news Israel had already lost 80% of their strength while the truth was that egypt airforce was bombed out of existence. So sad.

To all those who claim that "Israel won because of Americans":
1. Israel fought with mostly French and British Weapons, which were bought not supplied. France also put arms embargo on Israel before the war, while France took Arabs side.
2. Jordan were equipped with American Tanks and British aircrafts, while Egypt and Syria used Soviet-supplied Weapons, which were as technologically advanced as Western weapons. Technically, Arabs lost despite having LOADED Soviet, Americans and British weapons. IN this video Arab equipments outnumbered Israeli 3 times.
3. Leonid Brezhnev is even disappointed with the Arabs. He said "We gave them (Arab) the most sensitive equipment but they wanted to fight so we gave them twice as much tanks and armor, 3 times more artillery and even 2 times more air defense systems with anti-tank weapons. Equipped with more teeth than Vietnam, but when they lose they get angry and curse that we can't help them. Sadat also had to call and ask us to send troops to help them. We said no to them they said we were traitors."
4. Americans didn't even know about Operation Focus until the Israelis revealed to them 5 hours before the Operation.
Despite, having massive amount of weapons from USSR, support from France, 4 Arab Nations lost a tiny country in 6 days. This can be explained by poor leadership, overestimation/overconfidence, ineffective planning and etc.

They're there to lessen border tensions, provide some border protection while the regular armies are stationed away from the border, and basically prevent hotheads from causing some incident. They were there with the consent of the Egyptian government. When the Egyptian government withdrew that consent, they had to leave.
Not many people are pointing out that USSR was heavily backing the Arab Nations. The Soviets supplied thousands of tanks, warplanes, artillery and anti-tank/anti-warplane weaponry to Egypt, Syria and Jordan, against Israel.
Lots of people point out US support of Israel, but the US and USSR were considered equals in strength for a long time. You'd think it would have canceled out.
