You’ve articulated this perfectly. For a long time I perceived my move as “running away from my problems” but that narrative I had been telling myself and others is actually so problematic and hurtful. It has negative connotations and insinuates immaturity or that I couldn’t deal with my issues head on. The reality was I’ve always wanted to leave my hometown ever since finishing high school but kept rationalising & making excuses to stay. I ended up hurting myself so much that I carried this guilt and shame on with me, but I’m honestly so much happier living where I am now and I’m glad I saw this video to help me reframe my thinking. Thank you!

Wow, I love that!!! I definitely relate to you when you say that you've perceived you moving away as running away. For a while I thought that about myself too. But the reality is that sometimes we just outgrow things! I'm so glad you found this video and have a new perspective ❤️❤️

i really like this comment today of all days . I suspect im older than you and i remember years ago my doctor telling me its time to move and start again the weekend just passed was a huge sign for me. It makes me sad though because its beautiful here in my part of Australia but i feel boxed into a lifestyle everyone else wants but i cant stand anymore

I agree with everything you said. I became numb to my environment and I had the desire to move. I did in 2020 and I do not regret it. I prayed about it and stepped out on faith. God opened the door and made it possible. I think about moving again from time to time. I am going to pray and ask God's decision on it because it's crucial. Have Jesus in all your plans and He will never steer you wrong.

The other sign is that things don't go well for you. Things abruptly end or friendship gets strained for no reason. Our enviroment does dictate weather we achieve success or failure. Like they said it takes a village to raise a child, that is also true when you are an adult. You can't be just you pushing for things you want if your enviroment is not supportive. You will eventually wither away.

She’s right , I used to think I needed to be home to help my family and stuff out putting my dreams and goals aside to help family out only made me feel like shit , I’ve left my hometime since the age of 18 3 times and came back due to personal reasons. Everytime I made my way back home I could feel anxiety, trauma and just the thought of repetitive day to day task feeling like a robot kick in. But whenever I go to where I want to live (Arizona ) which is where I first lived before I moved back . I can feel my soul get excited it’s almost like I shed a layer of protection and humbleness and get to shine without worrying about someone trying to dim my light but when I’m at home I feel as if I have to dumb myself down around people so I can “fit in” and I’m tired of that. I know I deserve to look at palm trees cause I’ve took the risk and know what comes with it , thank you for this video very much needed

I’ve also been going through the same cycle like I’ve been reliving my years all over again 🫤 I’m stagnant now I feel God has put me in a situation where I have no choice but to go back to my hometown to start over 🥹 but I’m nervous I have a toddler and her father would still be here.

Good message. I lived abroad for about a year. Then I came back to the United States and my whole life since I have been here has been depressing. I'm thankful for what I have but the people around me just don't inspire me. Nobody comes to visit. I don't have any friends. There's no jobs around here. I have no car. And I live in a very rural environment. We don't even have a gas station. And I'm just starting to think that I'm letting my life pass me by. I like to travel. I hate sitting in one place for a long time. Thanks for this message.

Sweetheart, you are such a gentle woman and speak with such grace, but I must be perfectly honest with you: 2 minutes into your message when you mentioned the universe, you lost me. Please understand that the universe was created by an omnipotent and loving God in heaven and can never be substituted by His very own creation.
My hope for you is that you seek after the truth of the love He has for humanity made in His image for great purposes beyond our understanding, while there is still time. He will not share His glory with anything else.

      @overseaswithkey  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and sharing your thoughts 😊 I appreciate your perspective! In my video, when I mentioned the Universe, I was referring to a more metaphorical concept that many people use to describe a sense of purpose or calling in their lives. I understand that you view the universe as God's creation. However, I use the term "Universe" to describe everything, including God.
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding. Sending you peace and love ❤️

@@overseaswithkey You’re welcome and you did have some very good points you made and I’m really feeling lead by the Lord to move out of California for some of the reasons you mentioned. Yes I indeed do understand your perspective.
My hope, as with anyone in a similar position as you, would come to acknowledge that there is indeed a God (Yah) who has formed and created you for an amazing purpose and plan. It’s easy to give credit to luck, our own wisdom in making choices, the universe or just about anything else, but Him when things go well in life.
Just know that this temporal life is but a vapor and the decision we make to recognize His existence and get to know the loving Father in heaven, will truly determine our eternity beyond this life. May God bless you with this understanding and open your heart to receive His goodness and mercy! Keep up the good work on your channel.❤️

I’m moving across the US, coast to coast. I’ve been dreaming of moving from my home state since middle school but the adults around me said that I was just a kid that had fantasies about traveling the world, and at one point I believed them, but as I grew up, I still had that burning desire to leave and it never went away. I’m 24 now, and I’m still seeing comments of older adults on the internet saying “you’re in your 20s, you know nothing yet, of course you feel like you want to leave, you’ll grow out of it and come back to your family, so just stay home” under videos about people talking about this topic. I’m tired of this. I have autonomy over my own life regardless of my age and if I make a mistake, then it’s my mistake I’ll make, and I don’t want to keep wondering “what if”. My lease ends in the summer and that’s when I’m moving 3,000+ miles away from my home town. And I know exactly what I want to do when I get there.

My family insisted that I live in my hometown because they were there, because property prices were low and because I had friends in the area. But I was so bored. There were no new walks, no clubs to join, my friends got boring and stopped hanging out and I started stagnating, I felt dull and uninspired. I ended up buying a house during covid and I lived in it for 2 years before realising I would always be lonely there, always trapped in dead-end jobs, always waiting for life to find me. It wasn't going to find me, I had to find it. I was 32 when I moved to the city and now I go out to socials every week, I have a new hobby, and I'm more motivated to achieve my personal goals. I cant go back to my hometown now, even though I loved my house. I realised I wanted my house to host parties for friends - which seldom happened - it wasn't worth the money. I will be selling my house, paying off my mortgage and in the eyes of many - going backward - but what im doing is right for me. And you are so right - that feeling unmotivated or anxious is a sign and you do need to surround yourself with people who have what you want. If you stay in the wrong place you settle for less and stop growing.

My parents my wife did not want to move. I left...!!!! Not alone. I left with my three German shepherd dogs. To a new place. " Country living"... I'm officially a farmer now. Country life. I took a step to move. God took 1000 steps to lead.

I made a hasty decision to move from my home state. I've been trying to get back home since 2019. I live in a rural town with no transportation and I don't have a car. I can't get to the business to rent a moving truck or to get to an airport or Greyhound. Based on all of the above, what would you suggest the mode of transportation to move to another location?

My main point is to always follow your heart ❤️ You seem to already know what you want which is great! My goal with this video was to highlight the possible signs people might be experiencing that they need to leave, but if you feel the call to go back that's just as good too x

Hi from West Virginia near Pittsburgh... I do not value recognizing easter xmas and sunday church... Largely because of doctrinal bias from Emporer Constantine of Rome during 325 ad at Council of Nicea to create xmas and easter and sunday church
