The star of the show is the Dual Control Wrapping/Finishing Motor that is variable speed (40-420RPM), reversible, includes a foot control and adjustable slip clutch. Whether wrapping or finishing, the 3 roller supports are slot mounted and can be set in the desired location to support the rod while the thread tension control board or finishing steady rest freely slide up or down your rod without obstruction. No juggling with upright supports while working down the rod. The base alignment board is 11” wide and 93.5” long, extensions are available. I ordered a complete Rod building kit from another vendor who sells Rod building kits. After buying that one I was made aware of the flex coat Rod building wrapper. After ordering and receiving one I found that the flex coat rod wrapping motor and assembly is far superior to the one that I had previously ordered. I wish I had found out about the flex coat rapping motor before I bought the other popular well-known system. Again, I have found your Flex coat wrapping motor to be far superior to the one that I bought previously. Big shout out for John who introduced it to me when I call to order flexcoat finish. In our conversation he found out which system I was using and I explained my problems and he told me about the flex coat wrapper. Thanks again John.

I was prepared to wait a while to get mine, but got it 4 days after I ordered. Got the thread tension and the slip clutch adjusted and I’ve got a butt wrap drying right now. I’m a big fan so far!

Just ordered this kit, super excited to try it out!
Have watched this video several times now and have come up with some great ideas as to how I can improve my home built power wrapping machine... Have bought a few pieces on line, some real cheap and not so cheap lol. My chucks are on the cheaper side and the rod doesn't quite run central but I have come up with an idea that will fix this problem. Just have to wait a few weeks for the parts to arrive and will put them to the test... Good old Kiwi ingenuity will save the day once again... I do drone fishing here in the NZ and am currently working on building up a rod that will be specifically for drone fishing. Only a beginner at the rod building and have stripped off so much of what I have put on this rod so far lol. Will get it right one day...

I have two of your rod dryers. The "self centering" chuck, is far from centered. But this is a slick setup.
It is shown off center and then corrected with a little twist. Thanks for watching

Can you put different chucks on this motor? Im new to powee wrappers and im not sure aboit how your chuck works? Please let me know im going to pull the trigger on one soon.
You can add different chucks, the sky is the limit, but why? Our self adjusting chuck is so good that it has be copied and adopted by our major made in china competitor. Give me a call and we can talk about it. 512-858-7742

Will the clutch start slipping if the wrapping thread is tight.
The slip clutch is adjustable just like the thread tension devices. You can find the combination that works for you. The thread tension can be held by the slip clutch.
You can adjust the slip clutch to what ever you need...I use it for off shore rods...
