Love the first design, but I would make the dining area floor flush with the other rooms. I see it as a potential trip hazard.

I think the laundry room was suppose to act as a mud room as well. I would like larger bedrooms. I really love a 16×15' bedroom for both rooms.

This built for someone who loves to be in the Laundry room. That laundry room is way too big, bright & airy for such a small home imo.
