I bought a x-15 v2 b stock from this site 2yrs ago. And yes it has some flews on it like the rubber gap was cut in different place. Preformence wise it plays well like it was a brand new subwoofer. The beat money I have spent there.
Id really like to have one of those X's. Or one of the two powerful avatar subs. Those volcano's seem to be slamming. I run a single 15 on a jp23 1.5. Just getting back into car audio since 2010 and much has changed dramatically. Especially power handling. Back then 500-1000 watts was all i needed.
I would recommend hearing an X before getting one. They have a very different sound that traditional subs. They are great for making wind and playing low, but I actually prefer a little more punch in my subs.
I was actually cmn to tell you the same thing..probably the best and safest way.. You also need a funnel..you put the big end of the funnel on the cone/cap and then put the vacuumed to the other end and turn it on..work every time on any size sub or speakers
Yooo, Car Audio Lab, when we getting the 4th order deaign video as well as cabin optimisation🥲🥲, i wanna try a hand an pull off some nasty hairctricks on low cone area, minimal power but i dont have the resources to trial and error, and online, info as much as there is, its too vague or non existant😢, if im blabbing, i do apologize
Those videos are still a work in progress, I am afraid. Even though I have experience with 4th orders bandpass enclosures, I want to run my note by an expert first before putting together a video. I do have some footage ready for the cabin mods though, just have to get a video together for that.
@@caraudiolab ouu dqyumnn, no rush even though i probably seem like i was. Im just super eager to try my hand with actual, useful info from you than just some expert online ssying "bigger box, tune low, yadda yadda"... keep up the great vids btw, i learned more from you than i did from online forums believe it or not
@@nicholasram8235 Thanks, I appreciate it! I have a list of several pages of video requests from watchers. The videos you are interested are higher up on my list of ones that I want to create. I am just surprised at how much time they take to make!

A vacuum works good for pulling the dent out of dust caps
That is a really good idea, thank you!

You could get Drew Jones on Facebook to design a 4th for you, he is well known for his designs.
