I know that a problem the crew had while filming, was that they were constantly changing the battery packs for the suit. The part that holds the identity disk would be a great spot to hide more batteries so the suit can stay on for longer.
they could easily hide batteries in the identity disk, and make the holding piece like a magsafe accessory. another way you could hold the batteries is to do the lamborghini thing and put cells inside of the suit material itself to form a giant suit battery
I’m happy Disney is giving TRON recognition last year when they opened the Light Cycle roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom. They got a gift shop there too that sells TRON merchandise, and one of them is a identity disc similar to the one shown in this video.
OH MY GOSH, I am so excited to see this process. I also wanted to make a tron costume after seeing your identity disc build on reels. You have got me so excited.
Man, I’ve never done modern cosplay before but Tron EL suits have been in the back of my mind since the latest movie came out. Really looking forward to your videos on this topic!
amazing video, very helpful! I plan on starting this ambitious project as well as soon as i’m more experienced in cosplay and not just making spider-man suits
Brother you’re the only one making Tron legacy content and PROPS on the movie! Thanks for this ALSO I do not know if you’re familiar with “Galactic Armory” but I contacted him via Instagram and asked him if he was able to 3D print me a Rinzler helmet haha hope it follows through. Anyways Good video mate and keep the updates coming! 👍🏼
Just starting off this video, I’m so sure you’d be able to break the bank by starting a company for Tron fans where you’d be able to make custom suits for people, that’d be so sick :)
i want to see the final fase of the cosplay :D @Plentiful Props 3D i want to make a jin saki mask from ghost of tsushima and I want to order it from pcbway but I don´t know where ´s the carbon viber can you help me?
I’ll definitely be trying that one of these days to compare, since price-wise it might be a good cost/time saving alternative, but the silicone is going to be much more flexible than the TPU. TPU typically has a shore hardness of 90, and the silicone im using has a shore hardness of 10. Plus there’s nothing you can really do about the layer lines on TPU prints, whereas the parts I moulded were sanded smooth beforehand.
@plentifulprops3d good to know. I personally haven't used tpu but this seemed like the perfect situation for it based on what I've heard. Always learning new things I suppose
Yo man! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your content so excited to see your tron legacy outfit come to life. Please let me know if you'd like to make history together as I am planning to make "The Canadian KNIGHTS" for my Ice Tennis League Id love you to join this amazing journey with me 🌍🌎🌏

Awesome! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the updates as Rinzler is one of my faves to cosplay.
Dude. I literally was asking just someone how to make a rinzler kind of helmet and then you make a video on it. Perfection!
Ahahaha nice!
YOOOO such an underrated scifi! Very excited to see how it turns out, definitely an upcoming cosplay for me now!

This is so sick
i really want to dress up like a tron character for next year prom
I have finished the helmet 2 days ago. The leds was the most difficult part to make.

Could you make a tutorial on how to make the mechanism for the biceps and thighs of the Iron Man suit?
Bro is literally him

Ciao, penso che il problema più grande sarà fare il casco, hai un'idea per come riuscire a vedere da dentro mantenendo tutto nero per fuori?
i want to see the final fase of the cosplay :D

I want one for the sentries I love the asymmetrical look
The temptation to reach out to do3d to ask if they can do a Siren printable model is strong with this one...
Do it! That’s how I got them to model Tron: Legacy files in the first place :)
Hey I really want to make a Rinzler motorcycle helmet. I can’t find one anywhere and how to make one. I was wondering if you would know how to.
Legit question: why not just 3d print the body pieces in something flexible like tpu so you dont have to mess with the molds and castings?

Focus - your focus on this video is really wonky?
Yup, camera was angled a little lower than usual and focused on the objects on the desk instead of me for the first few minutes💀
This entire video is an advert
I genuinely thought this was gonna be a tutorial not an ad
