Complete silence and I understand why. That movie was such a weird mashup of Zemeckis' other movies. I get that he was taking Forrest Gump mixed with Polar Express and Flight with a dash of Mars Needs Moms, but it came off as Inglourious Basterds + Toy Story + Reign Over Me. How do you market that? Who do you market that too? You don't. That's why nobody remembers it, they've never heard of it. The film was interesting but I'm still not sure if it was good weird or just weird.
I've been telling people about the good old days of Even Stevphen on the Daily Show for so long now it feels like a fairy tale. As a 62 year old, I especially loved the weird twist at the end! "It's harder to get your anger up"! It reminds me of an old joke - the definition of panic for a young man is the first time you can't get it up twice, and for an old man, the 2nd time you can't get it up once.
