it's good to have all the documents. but initial 2-3 days booking is good enough. But be prepared either with hotel names you would like to book if they ask you to book on the spot or just book the one's with cancellation policy.

Hi ma'am, I'm planning to travel malaysia this month for 4 days with my wife. So the trip clubbed with one travel agency. So flight, hotel bookinga and transport( to and fro airport & site seeing) is included in the package. So my query is how much indian money converted to ringgit we have to keep with us for the rest of the expenses over there.?
So what i think is that you will be spending on food and shopping. Local food and shopping will require cash. But if you will be eating in small restaurants then they will accept cards like little india I mentioned (in KL) So, having a zero forex card would help save money as other cards charge 3.5-5% markup fees. And rest having 10k converted into ringitts would be enough for food and shopping. Just a suggestion if you are dicey on how much you will be spending take USD notes from India. Keep converting them as and when required.
booking through makemytrip (travel agency) or travel agent both works. Whatever meets your requirement. OR you can self plan the trip. OR you can get a customised trip planned for yourself here - www.getsetyo.club/d/195381
Very informative blog. No doubt, your efforts are commendable. But shall appreciate, should you kindly clarify, whether or not any specific permit required by Indian nationals to enter EAST MALAYSIA.
thank you!!! 😊 It is VISA-FREE for the whole country. No permits are required. You can still double-check on the official visa website of Malaysia - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp (In the bottom right corner you will find chat assistance, you can ask there.)
Thank you for the information Khushboo, very helpful. I am an Indian national and want to ask if there are any charges for this arrival card as my travel agent is asking for rupees 499 per person for processing this. I am planning a trip to Singapore in April and am clubbing it with 3 days in Malaysia. So my itinerary will be India-Singapore-Malaysia-India.
Please guide if we should book by travel agent or ourselves??? Can we directly fly their and then book hotels there ?? Or everything should be planned before hand???
Hey totally depends on your interests. I would say if you love offbeat and non touristy things then east malaysia. Otherwise if you’d like mix of both then 1 day KL and 3 days east malaysia. And if you like touristy stuff then you can go with langlawi KL and genting highlands.
I think you can do everything on your own and the video is full guide for it. I have not missed anything. So you can book your hotels from here by creating a rough itinerary and then you can go there book your transportation to move between cities. @bigdeyshehzadey
July 2024 me Mumbai se Malaysia jaa raha hu.. Sri Lankan flight colombo rukegi 4 hrs.. Kya srilanka Transit visa lagega kya.. I will not leave airport.. Just changing 1 srilankan ..next b srilankan flight hai... Please reply
it will be hot in august, if that is bearable for you, you can consider visiting. I visited in July and it was hot and humid but since in the afternoons you can be indoors in Kuala Lumpur visiting malls or tall towers so it becomes bearable.
hey... according to my information, all Malaysia is VISA-free. I checked here on the live chat (bottom right corner) - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp You can also double-check with them, just to be sure.
hey I travelled from India-thailand-malaysia-india. Take a flight from Thailand to Malaysia. (depends on your passport, if you have an Indian passport then you will get a free visa for Malaysia otherwise you should apply for a VISA (i am not sure which visa process for other country passport holders). And getting back to Thailand you can either apply for a multiple-visit visa or you can check with some agency which can help you with information. check VFS global once for VISA process.
health insurance is not mandatory for anybody (it's optional) you can apply for a forex card on - niyo global or bookmyforex (just google it and go to their site and apply, I think it takes a week to get delivered to your address, once you have filled the things and applied for the card)
Yes. Both works. Try to use the forex card as much as possible as there is no 3% fees anywhere in Malaysia. Save cash for the local stuff like shopping or eating at a night market. And if you take a cab from airport then you can feed your card details and skip paying by cash. Hope this helps 👍
I am planning to go to Malaysia next year. Did you book the hotels and did pre payment? Or did you pay at the hotel. If i do pre payment, can i do it through any card, or forex card is needed? Liked your video ❤️
hey why next year? It is VISA FREE this year, make use of it. I booked the hotel and paid wherever it said to pay. wherever it said pay at hotel, your booking is confirmed - I did that. I required the bookings to apply for the E-visa. I think you will need a forex a card, or switch off international payments and try paying, if it works then that's good. (otherwise you will atleast have a chance to decide whether to pay using normal card or forex.) For my recent trips, I booked through agoda and booking dot com and I think forex card should be used.
I done my ticket on round trip and also done hotel booking for 7 days and i have sbi global care . This card is useful in Malaysia. For online use aap name what. Can i get any travel card from bank
you can consider getting bookmyforex card. if looking for bank card, world safari by RBL is good but costs 3000 rs annually. Apart from that whatever card you have from bank you can use that with 3.5% charges applied by bank. and niyoglobal card might work as well.
hey... just carry the docs I mentioned. India mein immigration pe check hoga and Malaysia jaake bhi before they stamp your passport. MDAC form is important, apply it according to when you are travelling. (consider MDAC form as your VISA application) uske alawa apko kuch nhi karna. (no form, no photo, no fees, just the documents required needed.) This will get you the VISA.
you can convert at the forex exchangers near you (call and ask at 3 places before you exchange) for reference check the rates on bookmyforex, ya fir unhi se lelo usd ya myr. Or I would suggest take 5000 INR converted into MYR and rest USD so that you can get USD converted from the city to MYR. if you are doing most of the transactions through card, then I think INR 20000 are enough for 3 people. I had 10000 and we were 2 people for 8-9 days. Mostly done everything online. You only need cash for street food and street shopping. And sometimes for buses if you are booking it from bus station.
Mam for budget trip who will keep bank statement r60k to 1lakh, is it necessary to take bank statement to show in immigration?? No body mentioned about bank statement,, And we can't keep such amt in bank,, a budget traveler,,, Pls clarify it
Hey keep a credit card and atleast 200 usd you will require to get through the trip for food, transportation, activities etc. Rest your accommodation and flights which is the major expense would be covered anyway. They did not mention the amount anywhere they just mentioned enough to get you through your trip. So, if they question, you can say that this is my plan and way of travelling and it would not cost much this way. And I can use my card at most of the places so this much cash is enough for me to get through my trip.
from kuala lumpur take a bus to Malacca (TBS station as mentioned in the video also) Penang also you will get a bus from Kuala Lumpur - the main station is TBS only but still, but still check once for Penang which will be the station on redbus.my or 12goasia
So am taking my parents for 4 days. First day I will start by afternoon visit kl tower. Aquarium Second day Batu caves and Genting highland Third day petronas tower , sky dec and kl city tour day 4 malaga.. Can you let me know if the plan is good. Is malaga good to visit.?
Nice explanation. For a family of 3 (3 year old kid included), how much do you think would be the cost estimate excluding flight and hotel charges ? We have planned a 5 day trip to KL and nearby.
See, it depends on your plan. But if you are taking outstation taxis then I don't know how much it will cost. If you are travelling in a mid-budget range, food - 10,000-12,000 GRAB taxi (within city travel ) - INR 3000-4000 Intercity transport - INR 5000 SIM - INR 500 Travel insurance - 500*3 = 1500 Activities/Tickets - INR 10,000 total - INR 30,000 (these are some rough ideas, as I don't know your style of travelling. there is scope of saving on the above on food and taxis.) Hope this helps. Consider subscribing to the channel 😊

thank you for the details..did you booked the hotels for all 7 days in advanced for different places or just did for kuala lumpur only and then booked hotels for rest of days later?..
hey.. back then I had to apply for an E-visa with all documents uploaded so I did not have the option of booking on the go. Stays were booked in advance. But if you don't want to book all, book with 100% cancellation before a certain date (which is 2 days in advance you can cancel with 100% money back). In this case you only book kuala lumpur as your 1st 2-3 days will be there only. And rest you can cancel and book on the go or as you like. Hope this helps.
hey visa-free hai that means you DON'T have to PAY ANY anything. bas documents dekha doge jo b immigration pe maangenge (out of the documents I have mentioned sab bhi maang sakte hai ya 1-2 bhi maang sakte hai depending on the immigration officer). Fir wo aapke passport pe stamp laga denge which means apko visa mil gaya to enter the country.

it is usually very expensive... and they only check your handbaggage, uske alawa if you have small bag wo usko nhi check karte (like lady's bag or small backpack just for your essentials). I am not sure but they did not check mine when I took a domestic flight in Malaysia.
Very nice video ❤
Is September end a good time to visit Malaysia?

Hi ma'am, I'm planning to travel malaysia this month for 4 days with my wife. So the trip clubbed with one travel agency. So flight, hotel bookinga and transport( to and fro airport & site seeing) is included in the package. So my query is how much indian money converted to ringgit we have to keep with us for the rest of the expenses over there.?
So what i think is that you will be spending on food and shopping.
Local food and shopping will require cash.
But if you will be eating in small restaurants then they will accept cards like little india I mentioned (in KL)
So, having a zero forex card would help save money as other cards charge 3.5-5% markup fees.
And rest having 10k converted into ringitts would be enough for food and shopping.
Just a suggestion if you are dicey on how much you will be spending take USD notes from India.
Keep converting them as and when required.
which agency u took?
If we book flights n accomodation from make my trip , will it be ok or should we book with travel agent? I want to travel in june
booking through makemytrip (travel agency) or travel agent both works.
It is VISA-FREE for the whole country. No permits are required.
You can still double-check on the official visa website of Malaysia - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp
(In the bottom right corner you will find chat assistance, you can ask there.)
@@khushboo.vasudeva Thanks for the update.
Please suggest me some budget stays in kuala lumpur. We are planning to visit Malaysia next month
Thank you for the information Khushboo, very helpful. I am an Indian national and want to ask if there are any charges for this arrival card as my travel agent is asking for rupees 499 per person for processing this. I am planning a trip to Singapore in April and am clubbing it with 3 days in Malaysia. So my itinerary will be India-Singapore-Malaysia-India.
hey.. there are no charges, no fees for the VISA as it is free. 499 must be the agent charge to do the work on your behalf.
Where u ll leave luggage in Kuala lampur??
Wherever you stay, you can rquest them to keep it and you will come back and take it.
Have 4 days in hand in 1st week of July. Should I do 2 days Langkawi, 1 day KL, 1 day Genting highlands or all 4 days in east Malaysia ?

Great video Khushboo! What would be the best time to visit Malaysia specially West Malaysia? We are thinking to go in August
it will be hot in august, if that is bearable for you, you can consider visiting.
I visited in July and it was hot and humid but since in the afternoons you can be indoors in Kuala Lumpur visiting malls or tall towers so it becomes bearable.
Hi, this free visa indian passport hold that can enter Sarawak? Because before the visa free we need another permission to enter sarawak....
hey... according to my information, all Malaysia is VISA-free.
I checked here on the live chat (bottom right corner) - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp
You can also double-check with them, just to be sure.

Hi really helpful. Can u pls help me in process to travel malaysia through thailand. And back to thailand again. PLS
hey I travelled from India-thailand-malaysia-india.
Is health insurance required for senior citizen? And how to get forex card?
health insurance is not mandatory for anybody (it's optional)
you can apply for a forex card on - niyo global or bookmyforex (just google it and go to their site and apply, I think it takes a week to get delivered to your address, once you have filled the things and applied for the card)
If we are booking malaysia trip on 30 dec till jan 6 then visa is required?
Hii, is airbnb hotel booking accepted in immigration ?
yes. if it is confirmed booking, you can show.
Do we need international aaplicable driving licence to rent scooty in Malaysia?
it says an English driving license is accepted but with T&C. So please google it for yourself.
Niyog global card chalega aur dollars leja sakte cash ma
Yes. Both works. Try to use the forex card as much as possible as there is no 3% fees anywhere in Malaysia. Save cash for the local stuff like shopping or eating at a night market.
And if you take a cab from airport then you can feed your card details and skip paying by cash.
Hope this helps 👍
Name of the sim card ?
U mobile
I don’t have last name so will it be fine if i use same first name and last name in international flight? Please help
(otherwise you will atleast have a chance to decide whether to pay using normal card or forex.)
For my recent trips, I booked through agoda and booking dot com and I think forex card should be used.
Is it suitable to travel Malaysia in Oct-Nov? Specially Langkawi.
november can be a good month.
Is Malayasia still visa free for Indians ?? If I am planning a trip in December 2024 ?
it's VISA FREE till 31st dec 2024
I done my ticket on round trip and also done hotel booking for 7 days and i have sbi global care . This card is useful in Malaysia. For online use aap name what. Can i get any travel card from bank
you can consider getting bookmyforex card.
if looking for bank card, world safari by RBL is good but costs 3000 rs annually.
Apart from that whatever card you have from bank you can use that with 3.5% charges applied by bank.
and niyoglobal card might work as well.
Can I enter Malaysia by road thru Singapore will they issue visa ?
Please suggest me about visa process as we are travelling Thailand to Kuala Lumpur.
you have to follow the VISA process mentioned in the video... check the timestamp or go to 03:51 of the video.
how many months statement is required to be shown at immigration?
best to keep 6 months
i have recently traveled to malaysia, and they don’t really ask at the immigration counter
but just keep it in case
Only this form is required? How to get the visa ? Is it on arrival or separately visa needs to be applied online ?
hey... just carry the docs I mentioned. India mein immigration pe check hoga and Malaysia jaake bhi before they stamp your passport.
MDAC form is important, apply it according to when you are travelling. (consider MDAC form as your VISA application)
uske alawa apko kuch nhi karna. (no form, no photo, no fees, just the documents required needed.)
This will get you the VISA.
Is Grab available in Langkawi?
Yes it is available. :)
Hey Where do we get the form to fill? Please reply thank you 🙏
please check the description of the video. you will find.
@@khushboo.vasudeva ok is it necessary to have bank statement ?

Hi, we are 3members traveling to Malaysia how much do we need to convert and were we can convert..
you can convert at the forex exchangers near you (call and ask at 3 places before you exchange)
for reference check the rates on bookmyforex, ya fir unhi se lelo usd ya myr.
So, in passport I have single name. Will this be an issue for the visa process in Malaysia?
July 2024 good time to visit?? Please reply
it is going to be hot, if you can manage that... it is a good time.
Mam for budget trip who will keep bank statement r60k to 1lakh, is it necessary to take bank statement to show in immigration??
No body mentioned about bank statement,,
And we can't keep such amt in bank,, a budget traveler,,,
Pls clarify it
Hey keep a credit card and atleast 200 usd you will require to get through the trip for food, transportation, activities etc.
How did you commute to Malacca and penang?
from kuala lumpur take a bus to Malacca (TBS station as mentioned in the video also)
Penang also you will get a bus from Kuala Lumpur - the main station is TBS only but still, but still check once for Penang which will be the station on redbus.my or 12goasia
If we are travelling from malaysia to singapore do we get visa on arrival for Indians?
For Singapore, as far as I know you have to apply visa in advance through an agent.
If we visit within december as it is Visa free, do we need to fill the form?
yes... the FORM is required to be filled till the time MALAYSIA IS VISA-FREE FOR INDIANS.
So am taking my parents for 4 days.
First day I will start by afternoon visit kl tower. Aquarium
Second day Batu caves and Genting highland
Third day petronas tower , sky dec and kl city tour
day 4 malaga.. Can you let me know if the plan is good. Is malaga good to visit.?
yes. malacca is good if all things are open. avoid going on a monday.
From where we can book visa? Any link or site?
Hi, I have added the link in the description, please check for MDAC form.
Is bank statement mandatory to show at immigration?
you can show cash and cards also.
Very helpful
Glad to hear that! Thank you 😁🙌🏼
Nice explanation. For a family of 3 (3 year old kid included), how much do you think would be the cost estimate excluding flight and hotel charges ? We have planned a 5 day trip to KL and nearby.
Same! Just leaving a comment to know when the reply comes.. 😁
See, it depends on your plan. But if you are taking outstation taxis then I don't know how much it will cost. If you are travelling in a mid-budget range,
food - 10,000-12,000
GRAB taxi (within city travel ) - INR 3000-4000
Intercity transport - INR 5000
SIM - INR 500
Travel insurance - 500*3 = 1500
Activities/Tickets - INR 10,000
total - INR 30,000 (these are some rough ideas, as I don't know your style of travelling. there is scope of saving on the above on food and taxis.)
Hope this helps. Consider subscribing to the channel 😊
Replied. consider subscribing? 😊 @@jovenamaryjoseph
For visa free, can we enter Langkawi instead of KL?
hey I don't want to give any wrong information. So, I will provide you with the correct source (use the chat assistant on the bottom right) - malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/evisa.jsp
Mam aisi countries batao jo khubsurat ho ghumne me maja aaye jaise bali hai aur 7 day ka total expense 1-1.25 lakh ho pls bata do
Vietnam is beautiful and coffee and banh mi is amazing.
Bali, lombok, gili t.
Thailand island side is beautiful but abhi its raining
Sri Lanka
Malaysia mein you can explore the borneo islands.
Oman
Japan (budget ka nhi pata yaha pe abhi)
PHILIPPINES for sure.
Cambodia island sides are great, what I have heard.
Taiwan
thank you for the details..did you booked the hotels for all 7 days in advanced for different places or just did for kuala lumpur only and then booked hotels for rest of days later?..
hey.. back then I had to apply for an E-visa with all documents uploaded so I did not have the option of booking on the go.
Genting you haven't recommended?
Hey i did not go there.
But you can definitely consider going as a day trip. It will be a fun experience.
So Malaysia visa is not required for Indians right ???
Only return flight tickets, hotel booking n the MDAC form is required right ??
hey visa-free hai that means you DON'T have to PAY ANY anything. bas documents dekha doge jo b immigration pe maangenge (out of the documents I have mentioned sab bhi maang sakte hai ya 1-2 bhi maang sakte hai depending on the immigration officer). Fir wo aapke passport pe stamp laga denge which means apko visa mil gaya to enter the country.
