- I must race from coast to coast on Forza Horizon 5, while visiting some landmarks along the way in this car chase inspired by The Cannonball Run.

Great to see Horizon back in play after so much Motorsport!
I desperately want to hear the hunter audio! The sheer number of near misses from them just full sending it was crazy! My favorite though was when Alex dodged the road block at the base of the volcano and he looked back and there was just a black blur of a car flying sideways, mid roll and in the air. Just about died laughing when I saw that!
Sadly I cannot fit a rocket to the "Justy" and I'm definitely not Jackie Chan but it'll do haha

This is why Forza Horizon is so much more fun than the Forza original. A great chase idea. Great cinematic shots. Would love to see a fast and furious theme chase or tournament.
Just recently bought Forza Horizon 5 myself. Man its a fun game. I've unlocked all the roads on the main map and Hot Wheels map. Just need to do the Rally map. Sometimes I just drive around rather than race.
Rally map outshines whole rest of game, i spend whole evenings just driving round it.
@@5-40_ Yeah just went through the roads today. So now I've completed the road collections. Now to just complete the races.
Honestly, I didn't realise just how much I missed the themed car chases until I saw this.
Hopefully there's more coming!

welcome back to the Americas. Where Alex forgot again to drive on the right hand side of the road. lucky for him when the pursuit cars play chicken with oncoming traffic and lose. 😂❤ Bravo and a fun video. Reminds of the good ol FH4 chases in the Scottish scenery.

loved The Cannonball Run! Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin as the priests lol absolutely brilliant! Roger Moore playing as someone who thought they were Roger Moore lol what a great film!

Ah, one of these map-spanning events! These were always great watches on Horizon 4, and this one is no different. A great amount of chaos on the mountain climb. And honestly, that roll down the other side that ended with wheels on the ground and no momentum lost was just superb.
This was more of a stop the beast than anything else, still made for an entertaining video though
Also one of the best cinematic unintentional shots
As such, with the power and weight advantage, should have had damage turned on. Would stop the car chucking.
Cannonball Run is such a classic. Good idea for a video, dude. Hope you all had fun making this. It's been cool seeing some Horizon videos recently.
Great to see someone did the Trans Am from the 1976 Cannonball / Carquake movie. I created liveries for that in Forza 4 and 5, not sure anyone ever downloaded them 😂

I really like the Vandura as an off-roader too, I have one in B Class which is a lot of fun to drive.
So happy they doing this both movies are a riot to watch with who's who of star....if 'Him' showed up for this....

I'm so happy that the Forza servers allowed everyone to take part in this. Any chance of a multi-class scavenger hunt style race where the crew agree upon checkpoints to hit using a different class car from D - S1, changing classes at each point, possibly only using roads?

Up the dirt roads on the other side of the volcano might have been a better way to lose some of the chasing cars... but for not having played for a while you still found your way surprisingly good!
I loved at the end when Alex said "we made it"and then you heard a cat lol😂
This looked too easy! Maybe have the main car be fast and small against lower PI off road trucks? They way they take all the shortcuts and have a better chance of pinning you. Having played FH5 a lot, they will never pin down in that van with those smaller cars.
How about a small fast car against all Funco f9s? That would be really funny to watch, so many wheelies.

Turning off the UI made runs like these a lot more fun tbh. I did a loop around the map in first person and you really get to appreciate the turns and flow of the roads when that's all you have to go by.
Love the Mazda GTR.
Real challenge is having your van without a mountain size weight to it. Yeah a much lighter vehicle 😁

at first i was upset. the thumbnail made me think that some Michael Bay wannabe was remaking Cannonball Run, then I realized graffics in video games are getting to the point that game play is cinematic.
i am conflicted.

I would love to see this with everybody driving an ambulance with the same high-end specs. Because as we all know, with great power comes great irresponsibility.

I feel the chasers didn't have much of a chance, as Alex usually can wiggle out of encirclements in Forza.
Better make shorter runs with damage on. like 3 shorter runs, than one long chase. There wasn't much suspense here for me, as trees deals damage but wiggling out is fairly easy
CAN WE GET A SPECIAL SURVIVE THE HUNT IF ENGLAND WIN THE EUROS? PLEASE.

Easiest way to make this harder for you: first person. That way you cant see which cars are coming from the side
What are all the cars in the chase, and if they're standing in for a car what are they standing in for

HEY, where's the two juiced up priests in a ferrari lol nah I kid I kid, stupid forza, one of the most famous ferrari's in the world, and only the crew motorfest and scarface the world is yours have it in the car selection
and even then they wont let you take the top off in motorfest, despite that being an option with that model in test drive unlimited, which it is straight where its from

It's painfully obvious that you're trying not to lose them so you can keep the drama going. Not good
Well this was boring.
Did they finally got rid of the flashing Message when just driving around? wow. now a button to skip the unwatchable "cutscenes" and i could buy it again. had to refund on the first try because those cringe cutscenes.. i had to leave my house whenever one was up if u can believe it.
Firstly I don't understand the connection with "The Cannonball Run", this was a "Stop the Beast". Second, the hunters had pretty much no chance of stopping that car since there is no damage what so ever taken, your car was ridiculously OP and if the car rolls (which it hardly does) it finds itself on wheels too fast. It was a good and fun idea, but not suitable for Forza. 4/10.
@P747 It's a series originally from Forza horizon 4, they've done a police pursuit one with Alex in a transit van. From time to time, he'll do themed versions other times he'll pick any car not themed by any films or TV shows
