- In one of our most technically demanding races we not only have to race against the raising flood water, but we have to deal with a highly challenging and often icy road in this frantic BeamNG Drive tournament.

i loved the way the dynamo drove and im really disappointed i let it down with a couple little mistakes. hopefully at some point in future i can avenge it

This was an increadibly entertaining video, my only gripe with is it that Alex/nobody sent it off the big ramp at the top after one of the races, it would have made for a hilarious victory celebration!
If people don't send their own cars off the big ramp in real life, would that also be your gripe?
I wonder if they can make a shortcut/obstacle race on this game, have small jumps that need to be accurate or risk falling off a cliff or have very steep shortcuts where going too fast slips you off a cliff
@@automation7295 Thats the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. It’s a video game and there’s a big jump. It’s reasonable to expect someone to send it off at some point. They’ve done it in a previous video
Protip for spectator camera control: if you use alt+scroll wheel (or rebind to just scroll wheel) to change the camera speed, it can make the camera movement much smoother. Otherwise you have to keep blipping shift and it makes for a jerkier motion. I play on race servers on Beam and end up spectating a lot waiting for the next race to start, so just passing some knawledge along :)
Love the videos and wish the people I raced with were always as courteous as yall are!
I think my car did well for being nearly 2 and a half tons but was let down by its driver like my cars normally are. I backed up to let Dangerman keep the place as I wasn't going to take it like that.
The pessima was so grippy that even an almost verticle cliff was no match for it.
That was an amazing recovery!

The 'raining cars' episode... That road would make a stonking 'bring whatever you want' rally stage, everyone getting a pop.

Did you see my comment on Camodo or a Niel video, where I wish there was a very buoyant raft or boat at the top, you can drive onto to survive an unlimited flood?
Racers have to get to the top first, and defend the ramp to safety, or maybe fight along the way. Or the ramp can be a like a seesaw on the edge of the boat, so once a car, even a bike goes onto the boat, no one else can use the ramp, because the weight of the vehicle on the boat side of the board, is tilting the other end away from the ground. This Mountain reminds me of the Summit race in NFS The Run. I love it. Makes me even more excited to finally build a PC when I can, and get Beam.

It's really emotionally powerful, when someone goes through so much, claws their way out of doom, only to get killed just before escape or success. That amazing save, and reeling in 2nd place, just to die to a crater. That was more heartbreaking then the boy ending of Little Nightmares 1 DLC. I love underdog tails, but my goodness that crash sucked.
I feel a bit dissatisfied
Didn't really feel I got the most from my car, I didn't push as hard as I could have in the races
But then in the last race the car didn't shift properly, then ever so slightly bent a wheel on a rock
It is how it is, just wish I had a run I was happy with
It looked like it had good pace in that first round, would've been cool to see how that would've turned out without some of the chaos
But then again this is FAIL race lmao

To be honest without the track position it looked like a really difficult course to make progress on & one small moment of pushing too much & it’s all over. You’ll have a better go of things next time & the frustration will be a distant memory 🙂
@@cosmic-tiger For sure, it was an incredibly difficult course to race on. A Wrangler tube frame with 2 solid axles is also not the ideal vehicle for it, ngl xD

No matter how bad my attention span is, I can always sit and watch a Failrace video without fail, very few can do that, glad to see Race the Flood again

This is way more entertaining than any "real" auto racing videos I've ever watched. I was cheering out loud when speedbeast recovered on that ad-hoc banked turn, and I was legitimately bummed that he didn't manage to get into 2nd!

This racing was amazing to watch! The road on this map is not an easy one to master so there was no doubt some practice was done. Great driving with some very close calls! I loved it 👍

Since the 0.32 update, I’ve found the wheel damage has been less severe when going over rough terrain.

All wheel drive cars should have a horsepower to weight reduction to make it fair with FWD and RWD cars

This will probably be buried in the comments but can you guys do shortcut/obstacle races in this (or other ) game?
Have small jumps that need to be accurate or risk falling off a cliff or have very steep shortcuts where going too fast slips you off a cliff (approaching the road perpendicularly for instance) . Like the ramp in this game if there was a risk reward option of using it. Similar to the bridge in the first survive the hunt with jumps and cliffs, great for chasing cars
They should fix the tires because slicks plus snow equals zero traction.

The only thing that disappointed me was that neither of you did a victory leap off the ramp at the top at the end.

Quick question, what UI is being used for that power info on the left? I tried to find it myself, but I don't think it's base game info, and is instead a modded one.
it's a ui app called simple power weight ratio
Idea for race. You race up or down the hill but it's all contact, if you take someone out by taking them off the edge you can reset. The vehicle you took out can not. Unless they have Taken out a vehicle, without taking themselves out, and same as all ways whoever can make it to the top wins. If you have done it already then could someone please leave a link in the reply thanks.

also this video reminded me of the nfs carbon canyon runs. probably because of the driving your tits off through a narrow mountain pass. makes me wanna see a flood survival on canyon maps from nfs carbon (at night of course because it's the law).

Yea. Shocker indeed. Given how un-agressive he usualy is vhen bumping with other cars. Vhen he took of Gliscors bumper, I half-expected him to let off in 'apology'. Thankfuly he didnt. :)

Gliscor was robbed in this one. She was clearly the better driver and had built the better car but just let down by one tiny mistake.
