I swear to god this country either dosen't care about victims or will literally take any lie that is told at face value, and there is basically no in-between. Like, most Special Victims unites have shockingly low rates of ever solving cases (or having them go anywhere) and then we have stuff like this

Identity politics. They care about victim _groups_ but not individual victims. And as a group, women are victims while men are perpetrators, and so they are more interested in protecting women, regardless of individual guilt, then they are about the old racist, sexist justice that used to be the norm in western society.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of actual SA claims are she said/he said where all that can be proved is sexual contact occurred. The fact most victims are victimized by their partners compounds this, as it's hard to prove the validity of consent between 2 people who already had consenting encounters.

At this point, I'm convinced the tale the blatant fabrications on PURPOSE to further discredit real victims since their attackers are usually of higher places and make it 'easier' to sweep under the rug when allegations come out about them.

A few examples (With sources i CAN get):
      1. A man from a Yale/Harvard Uni was accused of SA and expelled after what amounted to a Kangaroo court. He was found innocent (outside of that court) and was allowed to sue the school for what they did.
      2. Another dude was accused of SA by 1-2 women and while he was found innocent, his reputation and self-esteem were basically down the gutter.

The reality STILL is that many cases are never brought p on charges because no matter how credible the victim is there isn't the "perfect" case to bring, and D.A.s don't like losing cases. In the military it is even worse, with perpetrators being promoted while victims are forced to resign, and it is not just women who get assaulted by men, and since the assaulters are often of a higher rank they get the advantage.

@@professorrosenstock5026 my mom is still a kickass police sarge. Defiantly one of the boys who's thankful she wasn't told by anyone she had to transition as a man just because she's a tomboy

It sux that the military has overcorrected but as a civilian who suffered military justice (not my hubs) it used to be that men in uniform were untouchable.
I'm glad op has found the justice i never will.
I hope he has a long happy career and life.
Maybe someday the military will be more worried with justice than optics or rank.

Honestly the first story is good enough to sue the entire military

      What smooth-brained advice
OP will get in bigger trouble and going AWOL could be seen as a admission of guilt by the corrupt investigators

The sick thing is the laws and rules that apply to civilians are not like the military ones, so in court they had a functioning legal system but thought no no For the military, we have to completely reinvent the wheel
