My grandaddy and Dad (RIP to both) used to play this on the back porch on grandaddy's farm in east Tennessee (Loudon County). One of my favorite songs of all time. Certainly the nostalgia has something to do with it.

i'm originally from a little place called Winchester, KY which is real close to Lexington. we play this song too :) its a banger. i just love those old mountains and hollers so much, it makes my heart hurt sometimes. so beautiful, and peaceful, and the wildlife, and the people, and history, its quite a region. this place has got me, like it is strong. it gits in yer bones, lol but really it does
