Most of your air units were at bottom side - which is also where the blue enemy placed most of his tanks. Wouldn't have been useful to put your air units on top so that they DPS longer and avoid the mass tank damage ?
I've been experimenting with 4 gold mines rush + tier 1 spam (only doing that if I get footman or grunt and if I have either shamans or dryads for early dispell) and it's been working quite wonderfully. I just make large tier 1 army like whole two rows of mixed ranged 1 row and melee 1 row. Somehow it works, especially if you start third and can rush the hero. Prioritize tank hero so you can skip some low tier melee units. Maybe you could try it too?
@Grubby mine math. All mine 900. 2Gold per second. 7.5min of 4 mines pays them off. With mine delay, as long as you own mid you will have equal gold. Tech is the only thing that sets you back in value. 4mine T1 for president 2024!
Yes, 4th mine takes 10mins to pay, however 1st mine only takes around 5. So average 7.5. just buy all units between mine cd and for wave start. I only T2 for dispel. Btw in SC2 I only tech for detect lol
I just can't bring myself to make archers... why the hell is the worst ranged unit also so expensive? They have less HP and damage than the other ranged units, but fiends are the only ones more expensive than archers. And fiends have some usage against enemies with air units. Archers don't even have Elune's Grace in this mode... They really need a price reduction or a buff xP
People's ego totally plays a role in it 💀💀 I didn't play a lot of ladder BECAUSE my primary practice was always my older brother who was always FAR superior to me in WC3. But instead of trying to train harder (i mean, I played TONS of wc3 as a kid and teenager, just not always the normal gameplay but sometimes melee) But my brother always seemed better, and HE didn't even play ladder. So i thought.. if i cant even best my bro eho won't play ladder, why would I play ladder? Turns out.. it's not as hard as I thought.. Just needed to practice one build order and get relatively good at it to compete with like 1 in 4 people lmao

valve cant make their own direct strike now, because of blizzard policy on custom maps... and i dont think that current blizzard will make their own direct strike game of this
Blizzard doesn't own the concept, they just have moral ownership of the mode, meaning they can create their own, same name and all, without consent from or crediting the original creators of the map. Valve just has to not name it Direct Strike and they can do whatever they want
@@garagavia yeah, DH for soaking dmg while your hunts wreck stuff isn’t bad. Pit lord with howl is fine. Just set your hero to the side and you’ll be fine. Later if you have spirit link, even better. Panda is always good no matter what, just position your hero a little farther back and off to the side.

15% Evasion and 5 armor give the same EHP (17.64%) if you have 11.66 armor. If you have less, 5 armor is better. If you have more, evasion is better.

You should micro mg taunts a bit after you reach the enemy army since they lag behind your army when they taunt first before engaging

Melee hero gets targeted and dies early, cause hunts are ranged, so then your hero does not level up. It's not that you can't do it it's just bad
