man i love your videos, btw butcher the dead bird using a kitchen/hunting knife or a meat cleaver in order to obtain small bird meat, same amount of nutrition but no depression that comes along with it, you can also add them to a roasting pans or whatever theyre called, frying pans, stews, whatever. not only does one remove more hunger but also gets a bonus in calories, carbohydrates, fats and proteins, perfect for weight gain (and if youre ever having a playthrough with overweight do not prepare youre food at all, not even salads) Edit: you probably dont possess that many knifes considering youve used them all for spears, stone knifes work fine for butchering, and also, dont waste your knifes on spears! you can use sharp stones which dont degrade whatsoever to craft spears, the game typically always automatically uses knifes to make spears so take all of your knifes out of your inventory, walk away from them (doesnt matter if the are in a container or on the ground, just get away from 'em), have a sharp stone in youre inventory and you have spears for days without wasting those precious kitchen utensils/sneak kill weapons (Also a big warning, the game considers machetes (and maybe katanas but i dont know about that) as knifes and will use them and it will hurt their durability (that was a painful first hand experience), be very careful, you can also see what items the crafting recipe is going to use when hovering over the crafting option after clicking on said item (e.g the sticks for spears), please make sure to check that only the sharp stone is highlighted)
I've collected an ungodly amount of knives off the dead lol and on the second 'random' breaking of a machete I clued into it. Really hurt with how tight things were with weapons.
@@Alex-Phillips I experienced this too in my 10 years later playthrough, the lake to the east of the north warehouse in Muldraugh was also dried up for me. So perhaps all bodies of water are bugged? Not sure about the Ohio River though. Better get to making rain collecters!
Is that not one of the many changes to the map that are made by 10YL? I think it also makes some town into a swamp. I'm not 100% though, as I only use the "old" version of the mod.

Fishing may be bugged because the dev didnt tag the water they moved around as sources of fish
