Hi Terry, I missed this episode. I had a notification but we had visitors at the time so I left it to watch later. Nice route, even nicer in sunshine but you made the most of it. That part of the world is hilly, I think that's why it looks so pretty. Thanks for taking the trouble to film and share your journey. I hope you find the cause of the sound problems. 🤞
Thanks, I don’t have much choice with the pace given what I’m like! Having said that I wouldn’t have it any other way, I like to take in the area I’m riding through
@@terrysallbikes no pal .. ime over mosborough way. . Thinking of purchasing my first Brompton this year . Would you recommend c line or p line , can't really afford more than p line ? ...
P line is obviously lighter depends how important that is to you and what else you need to go with the bike, personally I’d rather have a used p than a new C
Best bit of this was the beer talk by that eccentric character Terry! You definitely need to invest in a deadcat or a windshield though to cut out the wind noise. I don't mind the music on this one though something more upbeat might have been better for others. Keep making videos Terry!
I pretty much wing it, I don’t do much planning of any kind to be honest, also there isn’t a lot the Brompton can’t handle, having said that I wouldn’t set off to ride a long trail more suited to mountain bikes
You chose some really bizarre music to accompany your videos of this journey. Not my cup of tea too depressing, so much so it spoiled watching this series of videos for me. I skipped large sections to you talking so I didn't have to listen to it, but then you had mic problems. Your voice was quite quiet for most of the time as well. It's a route area I would like to ride. Was going to go this week but flipping train strike, those greedy striking b'tards, put a stop to my plans as wells as causing misery for millions of other people trying to get around. It's too far to ride and then to do the route, just don't have the time to ride there and back as well as doing the route. Shame about the weather but this is the reality of cycling in the UK, you get unreliable crap weather most of the time. Anyway thanks for making and sharing.
It's great that you find aspects of the ride to enjoy even when the rain is pelting down!
Thanks, I think you have to look for the positives when doing this kind of ride, believe me the negatives are pretty sure to come and find you!
Danke!
👍
And thanks very much for the super thanks that’s really appreciated
Thanks Terry, really nice 3 films. Love the music by the way. Shame about the camping on Dartmoor no longer being allowed as it looked like fun.
Fortunately most of Dartmoor is free to camp again👍

Thanks, yes I did find the cause it was me, or user error at any rate, we live and learn!
"More blue sky than grey" sounds like a great title of a travel book ... 👍
Thanks , maybe I once read one with that very title and subconsciously repeated it!
I liked your 3 videos a lot, thanks for sharing them. You did it at a sensible pace given what Devon is like!

@@terrysallbikes By the way I liked the music, I thought it was a good fit
Lovely. . Just like Wincobank Terry 😊
Thanks Lee, do I know you?

I do have a Mike still not sure what the problem was but it obviously wasn’t working correctly
What bag are you using on the rear?
It’s a pod sacks bag from Planet X been great and fits the B without any modifications
When touring with the Brompton do you have to plan your route to accommodate the small wheels, or do you just wing it? Cheers 👍

@@terrysallbikes : thanks for the reply. 👍
Terrible sound.
Do you mean the music or the general quality?

Had some copyright problems with music on TH-cam so changed the music I was using sorry it wasn’t your cup of tea
There are many types of cups of tea
