honestly this is the messier stage that i've heard the quads. most of their diddles weren't lining up. they were struggling during this lot (and this is very early season)
Is the center snare the same kid from the video from like 5 years ago, the little kid who learned all of the BD stuff off of youtube and played with them in the Blue Experience?

Eh. They may be able to do some sick af hand to hands however their unisons suck ass. Super dirty. When I was put on bass for marching experience the main thing the techs drilled into us was clean perfect unisons. Not the crazy splits. The unisons were key. Their bass lines unisons are super bad. Although I still agree their bass line is superior.
We have entered the twilight zone where the tenors and snares are the weakest sections. (and they are hardly weak). I have found that when the Bass line is that good BD usually wins percussion. SCV is great but I think the BD book is by far the best out there.
Guess not! Unfortunately, I think judges have gotten more conservative this season because they can’t go on the field to hear what’s going on in detail.
Ken Price Brandon Olander appreciates your comment. He said he would take everything you said into consideration as he was polishing his three gold medals and Sanford he earned during his career at BD. LMAO.
gotta love the cheeky quads at the end there
Bro, the basses spits are so clean 😩😩😩😩😩😩

honestly this is the messier stage that i've heard the quads. most of their diddles weren't lining up. they were struggling during this lot (and this is very early season)
imperialstrike I play quads and to me they sounded fine, some spots were kind of messy but they had it together for the most part
David Musicstuff it onLy sounds like one big drum because they doing clean drumming
imperialstrike I agree with you, they are a very good quad line but this lot they had a lot of “little dirt moments”
Man, those are some CRANKED down tenors! Any more tention, they are gonna have to start up the Remo/Evan's Kevlar 6"-14"s! Love me some System Blue!
0:07 to 0;10 goes HARD!!!
I want to do drumline now
And that is why I make these videos.
2:43 snare drummer has is pinkies out
BD guys been doing that for almost a decade now
Are you an architect
So what? Can you do better?
okay and?
Yeah it almost cost them them the 1st place trophy
Very nice. Just the Tenors have this dissonant ring to it 🤔 love the bass line. Also slips are awesome this year!
Groovelessons they have a minor 2nd between drums 1 and 2 hence the dissonant sound 👌🏼
That quad feature is insane!

Excellent!
I'd love to hear one of these guys play these chops on a 5 piece kit, snare rack, floor toms, kick drum, cymbals. Bet it would sound awesome!
Brandon plays set. He grooves pretty well
@@Ebidle I thought he aged out?
Or he already did?
Den Svarte Metallkatten this last year was his age out
@@warrenoids He means he plahys set outside of dci
Was this early in the season? Tenors and basses didn’t have their stuff clean. Snares were decent.
Yes this was beginning of July
Good sh*t!
Gotta love when the 5’3” center snare is bitching at the 6’ + enders. “F**king lock it in guys! Wtf?!”
2:27 🔥🔥
Can they actually put some mics on the basses maybe
Aint nobody got money for that
bd bass + scv snares & tenors would be insane

Quien me pueda entender, soy de El Salvador, y esa música solo es para marching y nosotros tocamos ¡CUMBIA!
Que ondas guanaca! La cumbia es muy buena musica. Bien chiva como ustedes dicen
tenors are the coolest, snares are the loudest and bass...the hardest

On quad and snare though.

Kinda lost my confidence being a tenor in drumline myself 😁😅
These guys were just like you at one point.
We have entered the twilight zone where the tenors and snares are the weakest sections. (and they are hardly weak). I have found that when the Bass line is that good BD usually wins percussion. SCV is great but I think the BD book is by far the best out there.

Not a fan of quad line this year
I feel like they’re gonna pull ahead of SCV...
It's definitely pretty close!

@@fatstax4835 Looks like they pulled ahead finals night. So I was right. Check the recap.

Yea these are definitely robots Haha
Check out my dad's shop on FB. He has tons of drumline shirts and designs. @t
Too bad the snare drums now sound like they are playing on a soup can or a 2X4 block of wood. The 2X4 would be easier to carry.
Ken Price imagine commenting the same thing on multiple drum vids
Ken Price Brandon Olander appreciates your comment. He said he would take everything you said into consideration as he was polishing his three gold medals and Sanford he earned during his career at BD. LMAO.

Drums used to be cooler before they had to dance around like the rest of the band. Looks silly.
