I started using beatmaker years ago because I have multiple iPads. Your video is giving me a crash course back to maschine. I used maschine for years but not sampling. Thank you for your clarity in this video. I’m putting maschine+ into my current work flow and live performance.

Good day! I am very grateful to you for your videos, they help a lot! :))
But how do I change the pitch of the sample and cut it when I've aligned it in audio?
Because when you transfer it to a sample, it becomes the same.

Good day! Within the Audio Module the “tune knob” only adjusts the pitch. Whereas the Sample Module the “tune knob” adjusts both pitch and tempo. So it’s easiest to determine your pitch through the “tune knob” within the Audio Module while aligning your audio. From there you need to export it to another pad to capture the changes you have made. Which will then allow you to have a pitched and aligned sample to use within the Sample Module…hope that helps ☺️

      @@BarryDanielMusic Thank you very much!:))
Your tutorials are the BEST I've met! :))
But also, can you tell me how to export the aligned sample to another pad?

Check out my video “How To: Export and Re-record Audio in Maschine”. That video should be able to answer your question.

Really great tutorial!! Should I also look at Serato?

Hey. Thanks for the comment. Depending on what you’re trying to do. Serato is mainly for DJing. There’s also Serato Sample which is a tool that helps with sampling. It’s super intuitive and make it very easy to chop and use samples.

@@BarryDanielMusic Yes that's what I mean Serato Sample, my DJ'ing days are long gone!

Same (in regards to DJing). Serato Sample is definitely worth looking into.
