    It would be cool if Maschine also had audio quantise, not just MIDI quantise, for both the audio and sampler modules. That way, if you had samples with different grooves, you could quantise the audio and add your own groove or have groove quantise templates so you could get samples to have the same groove.

      @@jamesmatusiak9231 I ditched Maschine 2 - absolute mission to use a DAW within a DAW. I rather purchased Kitmaker -it convertrs Maschine sample packs to drum kits to use in your DAW without Maschine 2. I have far more freedom and flexibility using Ableton standalone and will NEVER go back to the shite that is Maschine 2. If you're into making beats live and on the fly using your Maschine 2 alone then perhaps you have a use-case for Maschine 2.

The only time I see it is if I PLAY something just on the pads & then I can turn that which I play into a loop to save usages. Somebody tell me I'm not tripping lol.....I figured out why I didn't see the wave button. Had to come back just incase somebody was lost like me 😂 the reason I couldn't see it cuz I was in song mode. • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@charlespryormedia You resample within the maschine. Switch from the sampler engine to the audio engine, then set your project temp to the desired tempo. Once you do that go to the sampling area and select internal sample. Once you resample it, it will sample at the projects tempo because it’s an audio file stretched to the project tempo. I know this is a long way to do it, but hopefully they change this in 3.0 update of the hardware

    Good shit! I’m waiting for the day NI allows you to chop straight from the audio module or quickly convert back to sampler without having to resample. They got all the tech to essentially have the same capabilities as serato sampler built right in, but for some reason haven’t connected the dots. I typically use the duplicate technique or manual chop to a group so I can make changes to each chop on its own vs everything effecting each chop by saving it to one pad. Nice tutorial, very concise and laid out in a practical manner

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nick Thank you so much for commenting!! You are 100% that would be so dope if they added those features. It would enhance my workflow a lot! Yea I sometimes mess around with those other chopping techniques depends on the sample. Especially if it’s an old school sample with live instruments where things don’t line up perfect. Man really great input. Thank you 🙏🏾 😊

    • @voodoornb
      @voodoornb 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They also need to let save template settings like setting all pads to polyphony 1 and choke groups. Instead of having to do it every new project.

      @@voodoornb Templates are available, but only when connected to the computer and not in stand alone. In stand alone, you can use a workaround of having an actual project you use as your template and just pull it up before every session. It's not perfect but can still save some time.

    I got to the point where your camera failed, which I don't understand.
    In the second group we switched the sample to audio.
    Then you take the Sample vom yellow Group to Orange and than to yellow.
    From this point on I'm having trouble keeping up, otherwise it's a really great video.
    I Strech the Beat like you but wehn i Copy in the Other Group the Timing is not 85.
    The timing is then at 88, that's correct ??? My sample is originally 85 my Beat 87 Bpm.
    Yes, I hope you can help me in some way and yes, I definitely have to say that your video is very cool because I finally understood something and yes, its the First Time.
    It's been 2 months since the sampling finally fits the beat, thank you very much.

    Hi, I love your video. I´ve one problem: when I change the audio back to sample, the tempo changes back to the original tempo. The tempo that I changed before doesn´t stay as I want it to be.
    Got an idea?

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thank you for commenting!🙏🏾 This is an interesting issue. Have you rendered the sample out with the desired tempo and put it on its own pad? If you want to change the tempo of any sample here’s how I would do it: Drag your sample onto a pad, Change from the sample engine, to the Audio engine, utilize the wave render button demoed in the video to convert/ render the sample to your project tempo on to another pad, then switch it back to a sampler engine to chop your sample to the new BPM that it was rendered at. I hope this makes since and I answered your question. Please let me know if you have any further issues. Thanks again for commenting 🙏🏾😊

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you already have the sample chops done how you want them, then you can convert that to an audio file and use the Audio engine in Maschine instead of the sampler engine. That way when you change the tempo of your project then it will automatically time stretch. I hope that make sense lol 😂. Maschine is more complicated than it has to be lol

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not sure, it shouldn’t play that long if it’s in Legato. You can try putting all your chops in the same choke group to see if that works. Thank you for commenting🙏🏾! Let me know how it turns out

    When I get to the point where its tempo matched and turn it back to sampler. Then hit slice, detect, etc. I can't trigger the slices with the pads even in Pad Mode. It just cycles through playing each sound in the group. How do i get it to trigger the slices instead of cycling through? I can't demo the slices unless I click pretty much. Or if I apply the slices. Thanks!

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thank you for commenting!🙏🏾 try hitting apply slices and selecting a group to put them on different pads. Question. In one video I saw (which was a tremendous help, this question is about .mp3 converted to .wav. Would you chop it up the same way. I have asked this question to a lot of people with little to no answer. I am 55 years old and don't understand a lot.

    • @creativedwill
      @creativedwill  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, good question. Yes, you would chop it the same way. Just make sure the sample doesn’t have any silent part in the beginning. Sometime when you convert samples there can be silent space of 10ms to 50ms at the start and end of the file. But I have never run into this issue with Maschine. I literally convert any sample I find from TH-cam .WAV and never have any issue. I hope this helps

    If anyone is wondering if Maschine 2 is worth it, over using a DAW - it's probably not. I'll save you a lot of time - purchase Kitmaker to convert your Maschine 2 libraries to Drum kits and use your DAW rather with your MK3 in MIDI mode (without Maschine 2 software).
