recently discovered your channel - very helpful! thank you so much! . i do a lot of my final mixing in logic. if i add a compressor in maschine - then output the stems to logic, will the audio file contain the sidechain pumping effect on the base or do i need to add the compressor in logic?
Hey, welcome to the channel man! If you output the audio stems from maschine to logic, it should contain the pumping effect, so you wouldn't need to add another in logic to sidechain
@ I guess that would be one way but could add unnecessary cpu usage if you’ve got a lot of tracks. I’m on my first week with maschine so I’ve got a lot to learn. I’m guessing you can place a comp in the aux mix and assign audio channels to it like a bus. I haven’t gotten that deep yet. Thanks for the response
Man! You explain so clearly is a real bless for us Maschine users! Cheers from Costa Rica dude! 🍺

So how do you assign multiple sounds to the sidechained kick and leave some out?
You can load compressors on each sound if you'd like and sidechain each one to the kick. Then you can tune it to your liking
