jaehyuns dimple don't worry about cramming for the science section!! just use logic and don't over analyze the graphics. all i did was one practice test and i got a perfect score (36) on the science section.
10:28 remember that acceleration also could be slowing down. The video said "think of acceleration as speeding up". Remember that also it could be slowing down as long as there is a change in velocity
This is how superscoring works: Let's say you take the ACT twice with the following results: Test #1: English: 23 Math: 28 Reading: 30 Science: 21 Composite: 26 Test #2: English: 29 Math: 26 Reading: 28 Science: 25 Composite: 27 If the school(s) you are looking at superscore, they will take your highest score in each subject between the two tests to give you the strongest composite possible. This would be your superscore: English: 29 Math: 28 Reading: 30 Science: 25 Composite: 28 Superscoring tends to be more common with competitive and/or private schools. Hope I helped!
Taking this in two days and I’m lowkey stressing. I’m watching a bunch a cram videos and I’m doing these cram videos. I’ll update when I take it/ when scores come in.
welp, 2 days from now I will be taking it, will most likely score high on Science, English, and Reading but will probably not do so well on the math section.
I’m in 8th grade and am apart of the Duke tip Program and I am taking my test soon and I have been putting it off and now last minute I am taking charge 😂. Any tips that I can use to help me stay focused? I tend to get bored of studying as it is summer and my mind is drifting off :/. Thank you. This video was very informative
Thank you so much for this but it’s absolutely insane that ALL of this has to be known just on the off chance that a SINGLE question is gonna be over it
Can anyone help me? I'm absolutely panicking!!! My freshman year was crap because my depression and anxiety disorder completely beat me up freshman year. 10th grade, my cousin died D: I missed a month and a half of school. Then my mom got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and I stayed with her in the hospital. I missed whole units. I took an online course in the summertime and skipped algebra 2. I took trig/precalc but I missed a huge unit which doomed me the rest of the year. Math is my strong suit, but I finished with a C-. All of my classes were affected. I read an article and I saw it was recommended to fill my year up. But I'm graduating early!! The whole school year has 16 total periods/blocks. I'm only taking 11/16. All are kinda easy classes. I only have one ap class= AP statistics. I was gonna drop a half credit LA class because the teacher was switched to my freshman year teacher and I don't need the class. I thought to keep my classes low would give me a better chance at getting a high gpa. But I guess that that would make me seem like a slacker? I really want to get into a good college. I really want to be a mathematics professor, but at this rate, i'm screwed.
@@pastpaperprocrastinatorFor my pre act I got a perfect on science section but 24 on my English. English is my second language so I’m studying English section already even though I’m taking the actual act in 2023.

the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell -the one thing I learned from school
Not me watching this on the bus to school, on the day of the ACT
12 hours 52 minutes 25 seconds something millisecond (and so on) until the ACT starts. Here we go.
Prasun Guragain how’d you do?
Could you make a video discussing which colleges superscore ACT and SAT and what they mean by that? Also love the vids!
This is how superscoring works:
Let's say you take the ACT twice with the following results:

Reading: 30
Science: 21
Composite: 26
Test #2:
English: 29
Math: 26
Reading: 28
Science: 25
Composite: 27
If the school(s) you are looking at superscore, they will take your highest score in each subject between the two tests to give you the strongest composite possible. This would be your superscore:

Math: 28
Reading: 30

Superscoring tends to be more common with competitive and/or private schools. Hope I helped!
