    first question is b, 3.04.
    To find the percentage decrease, we calculate:
    Decrease percentage = 24%
    Decrease decimal = 0.24 (24% converted to decimal)
    To find the new price after a percentage decrease:
    New Price = Original Price x (1 - Decrease Decimal)
    New Price = $4.00 x (1 - 0.24)
    New Price = $4.00 x 0.76
    New Price = $3.04

    • @LishaGirli
      @LishaGirli 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@lifeasterrika4431I figured it out.
      If it’s increase then you add 1 to the decimal version of the percentage.
      If it’s decrease, you do the opposite, so subtract.
      Then you multiply the result by the original price.
      So for example if you had an original price of $5 and you had to figure out how much it is after you take the price down by 20%, then here’s what you would do.
      First, take 1 and subtract the decimal version of 20 from it, (just the number behind a decimal) so 1-0.20
      which would get you 0.80
      Then multiply the original price, 5, by that.
      So 5 times .80
      Your result will be 4.
      I recommend you practice this skill and I hope my comment helped!!

    A quicker way to solve the question (49):
    if you rearrange the binomials you will see that it's in fact the difference between two squares
    (-6i+6)(6i+6) -> (6-6i)(6+6i)
    "the difference between two squares: a² - b² = (a-b)(a+b)"
    so (6)² - (-6i)² which is 36 - 36i² (i² = -1) so simplified it's 36+36 = 72
    It will save about 4~6 seconds, but it's the act and every second matters.

    For 49, It might be faster to treat (-6i +6) as -(6i-6) so that you can do a difference of squares and simply turn the end result negative. -(6i-6)(6i+6) = -(36i^2 -36) = 72

It took me 5 years of engineering to master those mathematics and still I can not even score an 80% on Greek's highschool ACTs. My country's ministers of education are assholeees! The equivalent MIT of Greece (Aristotle University Of Thessaloniki Electrical And Computer Engineering) is ranked 400 compared to other great universities. They try to drown us with knowledge before we are ready and still suck in competition with others. imagine just that.

    how does dividing 244 by 4 mean that the 244th digit will be 7?

    • @OverclockingCowboy
      @OverclockingCowboy หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you divide 244 by 4, you get 61 with no remainder. It means that you hit the 4th digit, which is 7. In the given problem, the number repeats every 4 digits
      1497 1497 1497 etc
      The 4th, 8th, 12th digits are all divisible by 4 with no remainder. You get 7. If you continue until the 244th digit, you also get 7.
      In other words, just look for the remainder after dividing by 4.
      245/4 = 61, remainder 1. The answer is the first digit 1.
      246/4 = 61, remainder 2. The answer is the second digit 4.
      248/4 = 62, no remainder. The answer is the fourth digit 7.

      It’s a trig question, look at the given angle (not the right angle) in this case 41. Look for what the question asks for. Use any values already given to know which one to use (sin cos tan). The side touching the given angle is adjacent. The problem asks for car to house distance (not given so use x) which is opposite angle, so you know to use tan. You would set it up like Tan(given angle) = opposit/adjacent The calculator should do the rest for you. if x ends up on same side as sin cos or tan put it over 1 and cross mulitply like any equation. If your actual problem doesn’t give an angle just use the inverse. Sorry it’s long, hopefully this helps, good luck!!

    Great video, however you need to slow down just a tad. Remember, just because you know the material, it doesn’t mean your audience does. Slow down and speak CLEARLY!

    problem 43, WRONG AGAIN, they are asking distance in miles not meter , so you need to convert, and none of the above answers! 1 meter = 0.000621 miles
