Perso I rarely lead a trump against a trump suit, but a certain loser in a slam contract, but there are always exceptions to any rule, it would be disastrous if partner have king second or queen third, for me, since I will never lead away from an ace against suit contract, my choice would be a little club... but Joan is right, sometimes one must think past the routine 'top of a sequence' lead which would be a disaster in waiting... Yeah, west should bid 1S instead of 1NT for sure.
So when you are long in a suit they have dumped you must lead trump.
