I thought that years ago GM had reached a level of bizarre and thoroughly ungainly in the design of the Pontiac Aztek that might never be matched . Now perhaps the styling of the Tesla cybertruck has surpassed the Aztek in weirdness. Initially I didn’t connect the two, but the tent did it. Aztek offered one too and it was probably better thought out.
Honestly, I can see the usefulness. And I do like that it pretty much folds up and forward out of the way (80% out of the way if you will). Cool idea. The shape of the cybertruck lends itself well to this setup as well. Pretty cool.
How's the "Vibration " feel when closing the doors? Is it rusting yet? Do You wash it in direct sunlight? It just seems like a waste of $$ for something totally useless.
The point of the stainless steel is that rust builds up as free iron which is easily removed with various stainless steel cleaners, so it's actually more resilient than auto paint. it's just different in terms of maintenance. I agree the truck is still a waste of money, and the build quality is certainly questionable
If this had climate control or integrated LED light strips that plugged in to the bed plug, this would be 100% worth it. I get that the back glass doesn’t go down because of the tono cover, taking most of the space where that glass would go, but Tesla, knowing this could have created some thing that attached to the rear to windows, or something to allow the air into the tent. But most simply, just to have some LED strips would’ve been amazing.
Excellent and succinct video. Direct to the point and easy to watch. Tq
Thanks! I did not want to pad it for time

The tent looks terrible. It might function okay, but one look at Rivian’s option shows how weak this fit and finish is in this thing.
Great video, top quality editing
Thank you!
That is so cool, thanks for sharing
Thank you!

Ya it's pretty slick. Best place to store it and still have bed room
Such a good video. The person doing the voice over has a really great voice.
Thanks, my sound booth is my closet

Have you driven the truck while the tent is on it?
A few feet while it was assembled. The air bladders are forgiving so the only risks are tree branches and excessive wind from driving
Good vid. I would have expected there to be more creative mounting solutions

PLEASE let all those awesome Jeep third party products come to the CT
It's only a matter of time
For that price kind of a waste not to connect climate control, imo that's the best thing about "glamping" in my Tesla
IncElCamino
this guy owns a cybertruck. $10 says he's 6'1 at most
