Professor Green is a multi millionaire he doesn’t have to do any of this but he is doing it for the people on the streets who haven’t got the power of voice like he does. He remembers where he came from and wants to help them. Good on him man.

The issue has never been about gender or race, the real dividing line is social class. Sadly identity politics has made the debate toxic and unhelpful, masking the real issues.

It's race and class. I share no kinship with these interlopers brought in, even less so when they rape and sexually enslave the most vulnerable girls in my racial group while the establishment covers it up for a quarter century and still isn't doing anything about it.

But the thing is, young white working class boys do not get scholarships the way people of minorities do. Young white working class males are the least likely to go to uni, yet others who do not get the grades get scholarships based on ethnicity. All we hear about is 'white privilege' by far left people but the working class British people have been suffering in their homeland for a few decades now, pushed out of London due to house prices, industries closing down.... market places of Del Boy & Rodney types have been shut down due to major market chains on every high street. White working class men have been forgotten. Women and minorities are better off in terms of work and education than the working class white male, when it should all be equal. It's not fair that some people get to have a free ticket to universities based on their race or ethnicity but working class white boys don't because they're deemed privileged as they're British.

What a bloody breath of sweet fresh air! Well done that man. Peer mentoring and a rebuilding of community and confidence among working-class communities is a matter of profound importance. These are the voices that we need at the forefront of debate... this is how you defeat fascism; not with middle-class intersectionality.

TheForging545 Intersectionality is what replaced class politics. On paper it sounds reasonable... different groups are exposed to different levels of descrimination on the grounds of their race, gender and sexuality, and these should be combated to create a fairer and more just society.
In reality, however, this system has replaced class (contrary to Marxism actually; intersectionality is a replacement of class politics- the working-class has failed in their eyes- with the politics of Identity) and due to the perceived privilege of white straight males, along with abandoning the recognition of class division within our society, all white straight males are priviledged. This atomises class solidarity and replaces it with the championing of social sub groups and ethic minority concerns (Identity Politics) above the economic realities which can unite us and make us stronger. The working-class and poor are multi ethnic, and consist of both genders. Our strength lies in a united struggle on the basis of shared class intetests... not on the basis of individual groups fighting their own corner alone; this divides and defeats us.

Fantastic interesting interview. I live in Ireland, grew up in a working class home . Had enough most of the time but know what hunger is . I was always determined to get out of that environment and through hardwork I did . Worked in England, New Zealand & Australia. One thing that’s common the world over is social inequalities. Those that have the opportunity to proper education because of the fact they come from an economically functioning homestead is such a start . Many because of financial issues fall through the cracks . Not to mention those that have intellectual problems and dysfunctional surroundings will always find it near impossible. Those that rule the roost are those that keep it such 😢

researchers consistently fail to address the magnitude of this issue.
People ultimately need love and validation. When a man doesn't matter to a woman, when she doesn't gaze at him with a loving smile, tell him she wants him/needs him, that he matters to her.
A lot of guys have never had that.
This will cause disillusionment/isolation/soul sadness and mental health issues in men. No amount of material things, por* will be able to replace that.
The problem in the west is 2 fold. Incels can't get a woman and the ones that do get one, end up in divorce/breaking up or being cheated on and losing more than the lady. So they swear off relationships and end up lonely all the same. (Mgtow)
Both have the effect of creating lonely, angry, atomised ppl and broken society with plummeting birth rates. And can spell the end of that society.
What are we seeing in the west now?
Falling sperm counts, falling testosterone levels, births, marriage, and a rapidly ageing society, with catastrophic debt levels.
White ppl used to have close family bonds but now they no longer keep ties with family and send old ppl to homes.
Jobs for life are a thing of the past, from where they used to form friends.
White ppl lost their matchmaking culture and used to marry form within their own tried and tested social circle.
With all that now gone, internet dating and cold approaching/PUA random women that u know nothing about is the way. Which can be toxic.

I grew up similarly to Prof Green, white minority in a largely Afro-Caribbean community and although the majority of my friends were black I still got bullied for being white, so bad that eventually we had to move away. Although our political class is totally detached from the working class I still have to say mass immigration is a major factor..... what do you expect to happen to indigenous white British when you import so many people particularly of the low skilled variety and those people end up displacing us? Our communities are fractured or just non-existent in certain areas we feel like foreigners in our own lands and we can't just hop on a plane and find somewhere else to settle. Even now where I work white British are fast becoming a minority to eastern Europeans so much so all our warehouses signs now are written in Polish! The truth is white working class have had everything taken from them even the ability to have children thanks to financial pressure and the prioritising of immigrant families when it comes to housing and benefits (yes it is true I have lived it). I don't hate immigrants nor do I want to ban all immigration but I do believe each country should be prioritising their own people and ensuring their own culture, laws and religions are being preserved. People need to stop ignoring the obvious elephant in the room and destroy the PC culture that has gagged us all into submission.

They are in the same room as your son... doing the same course! so clearly these people are like minded. I feel he shares his own demons and is very self aware. Although not politically active myself I believe Britain First feel a sense of cohesion and togetherness which is what our society has lost. Politicians should have been implementing a more inclusive society years ago, but they don't give a dam. They just talk about building more houses, yeah more of the same problems, without the infra-structure to cater for everyone.

I was captivated by this guys genuineness and I was really interested when he was touching on the lack of aspiration the welfare state creates, as I've experienced it first hand. But then rather predictably - as its channel 4 - the interview deteriorated into bashing the white working class by showing Britain First marchers and presuming they are representative. I'm going to go out on a limb here and presume the documentary that Professor Green took part in was a channel 4 production and the producers contrived an invitation for him to attend the march. This would enable the channel to show a section of society that are supposed to be - in their eyes - privileged by being white males, but who clearly aren't. And then put them back into the 'racist xenophobic box' where channel 4 thinks they belong.

I cant wait for the day when every child in britain gets a first class education. the quality of schools and teaching is not good enough. Ive met kids who go to private schools or 3 , 4 and 5 years ahead of those at state schools. its doesnt need to be like that. we can afford for everyone to get the same standard. I would serious pay an extra 10% in tax if thats what it took (its not just money though, many kids in the Caribbean , Zimbabwe and other African countries , in schools funded with less come out better educated . whatever the issue it it needs to be govts , society and businesses top priority.

Village Cooking what you talking about school is free in the UK. Parents need to encourage their kids to do home work go to school. Its that extra work that makes the difference. School has always been free so opportunties to attend have always been there. There should be more schools involving parents and explaining the importance of attendence and homework. Planning for a future even if there doesnt look like one outside your front door.

why should the majority of people have to pay more for someone else child to have a better education than their own? better they keep the difference and hire a tutor. Of course most would not but that's their choice not yours

And not all children are the same. Some will be very bright, some less so, and some, the majority are in the middle.
And some children will use opportunity whilst some will slander it. We are not equal.

Britain need this man to go into politics, he comes from a humble back ground, he's done well for himself but hasn't forgotten where he came from. Daddy wasn't a lord or a millionaire, a comprehensive education probably hasn't got an offshore account, in short a regular Joe Average unlike the front benches of either political party, how on earth do they represent us?

    • @MrRailjunkie
      @MrRailjunkie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

That might of helped the working class if he had gone into politics but they don't seem to like the representation they have in Labour MP Angela Raynor who is very much a working class success story.

The real point is that mechanization will take most manual jobs and we are being made to compete for those that are left thereby allowing corporations to offer lower wages. Meantime long term unemployment and addiction of parents, lack of stable housing because the council houses have been stolen and now austerity and lack of investment in our youth. 30 odd years of Thatcherite policy and Britain is now broken.

He's right, sometimes it's good to start a dialogue with people you completely disagree with. Even if Britain First are a fringe group the more you ignore them in the hope they go away it will only make the problem worse and grow. It hasn't worked in the past. Perhaps others can help educate or steer them away from hate if we opened up and tried to reason with them. Maybe then we could locate the actual root of the problem and do something about it!

Dylan Black How is it the same thing? Blacks have their own countries where they aren't being replaced through mass immigration. White people have no future in the very countries that their ancestors built. In 30 years the country will probably be less than 50% White , in 70 years maybe 20% if current trends continue, how exactly is that fair? If you're a White person in England you can either become a wigger like this guy or save all your money and move to another country.
