Nick I went to a boat show yesterday, and I've watched so many of these youtube videos that YOUR VOICE was stuck in my head narrating everything as I walked through. Everyone was asking me, Why I was opening EVERY CABINET, and I responded, "Because thats what NICK does."
I love how you completely non-chalantly give the most complete, thorough, thoughtful, and expert tour imaginable. You are the absolute best. Thank you!
As usual, the best yacht reviewer on TH-cam. The yacht manufacturers are fortunate to have you reviewing. No nonsense, tells/shows people almost everything they’d need to know.
I have now watched a half dozen other yacht presenters, since discovering this video genre, I find your walk throughs the most professional without being stuffy and entertaining as well. I also hope Princess pays you a commission as you have had to of sold a few of their boats. 👍
And the best bit is Nick often does work for them lol. My other favourite is James from boats. Co . Uk. His tours are done with comedic license and are always worth a watch. Nick is always no1 though.
I really like Nick's walk throughs, but there are others I like too. Victoria and Rico @ Nautistyles (gotta bit of a thing for Victoria) and David @ Yachts for sale as well as Denison walk throughs. They are all a bit different, but all are enjoyable in their own ways.
Maybe I'm just fussy but that didn't really feel 6.1m if I'm honest, the main deck felt like I had just got on the number 7 bus with them massive windows each side .. Looks good on the outside though.. Great video as always 👏👏👍
Honestly I was thinking the same thing from what we see this boat looks like 2-3 mill but also I get it because not many other boats too the quality of this boat, everything about it is beautiful and the best material
@@AQUAHOLIC Same here! It has been the added motivation I needed to stay focused on building my new business. You don't build a successful business with the sole intent of becoming rich, but Nick's yacht tours have kept me focused. My goal is to buy one of these one day (maybe not a $6.1 million one) and sail privately to some of the Caribbean islands and treat my parents before they are too old to travel like that :) Thanks, Nick, for the added inspiration!
Everyone at Princess Yachts must be very proud when they see their boats come out the yard especially when they're going abroad, British design and workmanship can still show the world how to do it. The design detail of these boats is astonishing, I wonder how much CAD has contributed to that and whether motor boat designers have brought in non marine designers who've really upped the standard even in smaller sizes.
It's always stunning when you catch a whole glimpse of a massive open area on a ship like this, makes me realize that this yacht is bigger than my bedroom, and that's just the upper deck. Insane
I hope you get more exclusive yacht tour opportunities by other yacht makers too, as nobody does a yacht tour like your kind self. That is a beautiful machine - the Princess engine rooms are always a sight to behold! I love all the clever hidden bits like the swivelling desk opposite the helm seat which shows how much thought goes into the design of these boats. Thanks once again for the quality tour Nick - have a nice one!
30kts cruising speed! I wasn't expecting that at all! It is absolutely fantastic this boat. To own and operate by oneself and put on charter for the rest of the season. Gorgeous.
It's a great thing. A lot of yacht builders spend of lot of hours fabricating a 10 star living space with soft close drawers etc and then seem to ignore the other doors and cabinets throughout the boat. A good idea would be to run some felt tape or something similar on the inside face of the cabinet and door frames to make them close quietly, at the moment it sounds like a caravan. I think it would be a good idea to cover the door hold magnets with something to damp the noise, it just doesn't sound good. Just my brain dump for the day. Love your vids! Hope you and fam are doing well bud.
I've seen basically every Aquaholic video, and I've concluded that Princess boats are my favorite! Modern, yet cozy. Very smart layout. And versatility in how you can arrange the space & furnishings. Fabulous!
It is amazing that AQUAHOLIC is the only channel that has a tour of this magnificent yacht; great achievement Nick congratulations and thank you for bringing it to us!!

Great boat and amazing design, Princess is impressive. The world needs more reviewers that OPEN cabinets, drawers and anything that has hinges or drawer glides. I'd love to see you get your hands into touring an old style home that has hidden passages!
The one thing that’s missing from nicks videos....and it’s no knock on nick....is the ability to feel, touch and smell the experience. What does it feel like to pull and press the metal door pulls? Or brush my fingers across the fabric on the dinette seating? Or run my hands across the wood grain cabinets. Is the laz latch heavy? How much effort do i need to exert to close it? And I’d love to know what it smells like in the master bedroom. Or feel the carpet below my feet. And what about the temperature in the cabin.....Is it cool? is there a touch of humidity? I guess i need to leave a bit to the imagination, but one day i do hope we can “live” the experience of these tours no different than Nick.
The table just opposite of the kitchen looks like a perfect poker table. Some drinks, the fresh ocean air and cards with friends = perfect. Excellent boat, not my usual type of boat, but an excellent one nonetheless. Thanks Nick!
My two favourite things about this boat are, the amazing crew accommodations for this size, and the understated elegance of the interior. Absolutely lovely. Once again, Princess nails the details, and Nick Nails the Tour. Another fantastic Aquaholic Tour. Thank you Nick, you never disappoint.
Thanks for having that one such early. I would close the wheel house for better night operation, add maybe IPS and tender garage instead of crew for owner operation.
Nick does the best walk-throughs of anyone on youtube. Would love to see him on the much larger M/Y's such as Lurrson, Feadship, and the like. I really think he is so good he could sell a pair of smelly socks.
All very Princess indeed. Ingenuity above and beyond. Magnificent engineering. Thank you as ever for bringing us all the Princess brilliance and a 30 minute escape into our dream world 💫
What a great boat and video! Thanks, Nick! 8:02 Black water tank at 50% capacity straight from the factory. So I gather that the heads were thoroughly tested then.

Thanks Nick, another great tour, indeed its a beautiful Princess!!! with some great new features, thanks again and all the very best and wishing you a great weekend
This guy does a great job with his channel, he should have a million subscribers by now. There are some other decent channels for touring boats but this guy really does a great job. I love boats and I always find myself watching Aquaholic far more than any other boating channel. Already looking forward to the next one.
Such a well thought out and comprehensive tour by a true aficionado of fine yachts. He made 32 minutes seem like 5. Such a great presentation...of course the subject matter certainly helps hold my attention. When you're doing something you love it makes work easy, this must be the case for Nick.
Nick you are such an enabler. You have made more in my mind millionaires than any channel. Makes us work harder to retire early and own this! Thank you! We are living the dream through you.
I like this guy. The British accent is cool. he really knows his stuff. These yachts are mind boggling with the technology and conveniences. Builders have thought of everything.
That is a totally amazing ship. There's nobody better at showing all of it's features for comfort, and mechanical's too. That will make somebody a great 2nd home.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The Princess range just seems to be getting better and better. I think they’ve actually surpassed Sunseeker in terms of their interior fit, finish and detailing - they’re up there with the Italian vessels now in my humble opinion. Thanks for sharing, Nick and congrats on a third exclusive in as many weeks! 👍
Even though you don't have the money for the yacht yet, there are probably so many necessities that you can already afford. I myself am pretty broke but I'm already preparing for a 5 million Princess yacht. Last week for example, I bought some spare parts for the engine, covers for the cushions and a cleaning kit for the jacuzzi. You gotta have these things in the end anyway, so you might as well buy them now.
That's a proper boat eh! You wouldn't need a house if you had this. Very well set out - love the master. Crew cabin is perfect and could very easily pass as a fifth cabin. Overall one of the best you've done in my opinion. Just need to get the missing £5.9m and I'm there. Thanks for the tour Nick - very enjoyable to watch.
Brilliant tour of the new Princess Y class. I take the crew area and strip it to the bulkheads, turning it into extra galley storage, a spares department and workshop. Leaving of course the head but no shower, rather a large stainless steal workshop sink.
The price tag seems huge but when you really start looking at all the systems, materials, and the amount of man hours it takes to make a boat like this it isn't as bad as you think. Absolutely stunning boat! I would take it as is
I've been looking forward to this boat review since Kiran teased us on the Princess Experience videos, and who delivers the goods? Why Aquaholic, of course. there is so much that I like about this yacht. The style, the elegance and the engineering, that goes without saying. Other items in particular worth mentioning are: the rear locker, the side boarding points, the safety locker, the new helm seats, side entrance to/from the helm, the maintenance access facilities, the shelves in the master stateroom, the life raft stowage, the styling of the flybridge wet bar (no lumps of white GRP here), the crew accommodation and the lazarette. If I were to be picky I would like to see stowage for the rear lines tails, previous yachts have had it and also a little more storage in the master stateroom. The VIP seems to have quite a bit more. Overall a great big 👍👍👍 to you for the usual excellent, informative and professional review, also Kiran and the Princess team for such a stylish and well engineered yacht. By the way, what was the sea ready status on the helm displays, that's a new one. Could you possibly do a video/discussion on the pros and cons of Gyro V Fin stabilisers, that would be most interesting. Thanks.
Apologies for being a day late on this - very remiss of me! Many congratulations for the exclusive, says a lot about how your channel is thought of by companies such as Princess. And of course its great for us subscribers too! What a beautiful yacht this is, cant fault anything - love the way the Master Suite has been re-imagined - same layout as the Y78 you reviewed at the back end of 2019. That is probably my favourite, but this now comes a close second. $6.1m US is I guess around £4.5m Sterling, not cheap, but when you look at all that quality, its a suprise its not actually more expensive. Thanks Nick and here's to more exclusives :-)
Well done, kept the subject matter moving along without getting obsequious as some do on reviewing the multi-million dollar boats. For weekend coastal getaways without lots of water toys or staff on hand this looks great and very well thought out. I can imagine a fast run from Miami to Bermuda, dropping down to a lower speed cruise to points farther away. It's all about the six plus millions for purchase, and the hundred thousand plus for annual operation and upkeep, though, isn't it? Either you have it or you don't. Most people don't.
I remember the interview concerning the Princess 95 where the Princess-repræsentative mentioned, that the 95 had a lenght just under the limit where you need a full time crew to stay on board. That would be an interesting subject to elaborate on.
A couple to do it without hiring crew, with the caveats: 1) they have the professional qualifications needed for the size boat. 2) They don't mind they could never go anywhere ashore together. The full time crew means you have someone on board and able to handle any emergencies 24/7, that is their goal with the regulations requiring it.
I agree... So many of us feel like we would be capable of handling a 50 60 or 70 footer..... But just how big is too big for two people?? After all.... Every boat only has one captain!!!!!!
At sub 24m hull length it’s a recreational vessel, above that it’s a ship which means minimum legal crew levels, qualifications, paperwork, etc etc etc. Sub 24m can be driven in Europe with a simple course and licence if UK flagged. No mandatory crew. Most X95s, I imagine, will be crewed but there’s no legal requirement which makes it much simpler. To keep the X95 below this length (load line length) it has a separate, non structural bow section that is bolted on (same at the stern I think too). If you look closely you can see the line just in front of the anchors.
Aquaholic Exclusive is always going to be a treat. What a boat love the layout Especially love the Fly bridge lay out and the Flow of the boat. Princess are so great at detailing. This Is what £4.4 Million Uk Money gets you.
Wow, congratulations on the well deserved exclusive, this was exceptional to watch and for me this Y72 is on a par with the S78 as my favourite yacht! 👍 Imagine winning big, buying one of these and first mission, sit in the saloon just admiring the fit and finish for half an hour before exploring the rest of her. I would be out and about on this every weekend, absolutely cracked it again Princess, beautiful. 👍❤️🇬🇧
I did not expect 4 cabins of that volume. Really good looking upholstery and finishes. I really hope all the U.K. Based Yacht builders will call you for the exclusives👌 Fab work @Nick thank you 👍
That was a real treat. Interestingly I have also just watched a video on the new Azimut 78 to compare. Our main two yacht builders really take some beating, and this Princess is amazing; who said only the Italians have style!! Thanks Nick.
My Italian friend purchased a British boat and he's the envy of the marina. The four hours of translating I did during price negotiations was ... Eh lol
I was watching the design team walking through a plywood mock-up of this only a few days ago. It's a beautiful boat but I'm still drawn to the Sunseeker Manhattan 68. Can't afford either mind you. Thanks for the great tour as always.

I love the way the crew head works with the door serving double duty!
It's nice the crew doesn't have just a wet head. You still get that on some £100m+ superyachts.
The finishing is nice enough that you wouldn’t feel particularly put out as a guest in that space. Great for kids :)
The crew heads seems bigger than the ones in the cabins

Can already tell this is going to be a great video! Keep up the good work Nick.
Thanks! Will do!
Now this is class. I like the refined, unpretentious look. Cheers Nick...
You really spoil us nick! Awesome job, as always! Love it, great work, Keep it up!!!
Imagine winning big, buying one of these and first mission, sit in the saloon just admiring the fit and finish for half an hour before exploring the rest of her. I would be out and about on this every weekend, absolutely cracked it again Princess, beautiful. 👍❤️🇬🇧
I did not expect 4 cabins of that volume. Really good looking upholstery and finishes. I really hope all the U.K. Based Yacht builders will call you for the exclusives👌
Fab work @Nick thank you 👍
Nice to see crew area better than some cabins in some yachts. Respect crew, and they will respect you and makes for brilliant boat experience.
Eh lol
Lavish boat.... given a lavish tour 🙂
Very thorough 30+ minutes of joy.... very tempting after EuroMillions... 💝
I was watching the design team walking through a plywood mock-up of this only a few days ago. It's a beautiful boat but I'm still drawn to the Sunseeker Manhattan 68. Can't afford either mind you. Thanks for the great tour as always.
Wow. Back to the beautiful Princess yachts. Gorgeous. Great video Nick and complete with the mirror wave 👋 and Miele cooking. All the best.
