I so much enjoy your programming your description and guided her through all the yatchs is excellent. I have watched a lot of these programming on TH-cam from Denison yards to ocean international just about all of them and you are by far the best at this thank you
Serious question - you seem to get so much more for your money with, say, a Sunseeker than, say, a Seaward Nelson trawler style boat. Is this because the Seaward is wayyy more seaworthy, or can you still take a Sunseeker out in big seas without a problem?
Seawards are designed first and foremost as heavy weather boats with all the accommodation limitations that brings. So if you're an offshore pilot, you'd buy one of those. But these are still pretty decent in big seas.
Really do you think so? The build, design and quality of a Princess is far superior. Sunseeker are just trying to be all Italian but lack the par excellence!
@@shaundunk386 Actually I think Princess is still no 1. But it feels like Sunseeker has stepped up their game. Also to be honest I have never been onboard a Princess. Went onboard a Sunseeker Portofino once and that was a step up from my little Finnmaster for sure😂.

Nick does full tours, all access and that makes a big difference as we all know. I have tried to watch other boating videos and they are horrible, missing areas, not showing crew areas and much more. Guess I am just used to Aquaholic tours. His general enthusiasm for boating is contagious. I do enjoy Captain Steve from Boat test.com though as he does a great review or the technical aspects and performance specs. Would love to see those 2 get together on a video or article.
Well that's just the perfect yacht, I imagine their will be very high demand for this boat. 55ft the accommodation space is plentiful, the technology and finish for the money I can see where it goes. Super jealous of anyone who owns one. For 20 minutes I was fascinated, cheers nick 😃👍
The only thing I'm not a fan of on Sun Seeker's is the door to the crew cabin. It just seems way more awkward than it needs to be. It would probably make it more difficult to get larger items in and out of that are. Other than that a great looking boat

Perfectly amazing boat. Is the price really $1.1M pounds? Seems comparatively inexpensive and definitely cheaper than a small Manhattan apartment. Only limiting factor is 230 mile range at 21 knots so going to be filling that 580 gallon fuel tank pretty often unless you putter along at 8 knots or so. Not so much a problem spending $2k to fill up but being required to stop is limiting if you want to do a passage. Outstanding tour of an outstanding boat.
Perfect timing, this is a dream boat for me. Such a great LOB option if you leave the crew space empty and put a couple of fridges and freezers with some shelves for dry stores.
That’s a lot of boat packed into such a modest footprint. Amazing how manufacturers keep coming up with efficient ways to create more space. Great review Nick!
I'm not sure if you ever noticed I don't often comment on the more expensive boats, but my goodness Nick, this Yacht is next level, this has to be one of the nicest yacht I've seen in a long time, the design language, the solid sound of everything you touch, screams quality, what piece of kit, I mean, these kind of boats are so far from my reality, yet, my goodness Sunseeker will sell these like hot cakes, this is next level boating. thanks for the review sir, cheers!

So it's an updated and slightly bigger Manhattan 52. Beautiful machine! I very much like the layout and the smart looks. . Though I still miss the dark high gloss woodwork of a traditional Fairline GT......
Layout is brilliant both for living bridge and also rooms, only little flaw is formal dining area not convertible as coffee or lounge, better a foldable table
I've seen a couple of reviews of this lovely craft before (from Sunseeker sales team ) but your enthusiasm and attention to detail seems to sell it so much better. One thing I didn't like in the other reviews was the fixed TV in the saloon obscuring the view from the window but thanks to you pointing out there is still an option for a pop up TV I can now sleep better knowing that if the day ever comes when I could afford one of these boats, my view out of the window will be unobscured. Thanks again for a great review Nick, looking forward to the next one.
It ever fails to amuse me that when I see £1.1 million ($1.5 mil for us here in the US) on Aquaholic’s channel, I think to myself “that’s very reasonable”. I can’t afford £1.1 million! But it’s a nice way to dream about owning a boat like this someday!
I have patiently waited for you to cover this boat. I love this one, this would be my dream boat, perfect size for no staff requirements and ticks all the boxes, I just need to get the money part taken care of. Another great video, thank you

Really beautiful boat, and great tour as always Nick. I love the Sunseeker brand and they've always made a great boat, but I feel in recent years they've just slightly fallen behind - on finish to Princess at the slightly higher price range, and on innovation to Galeon at the slightly lower price range. It's left them a little lost. This really does win them back in both areas though. A gorgeous and thoroughly modern boat (I especially love the eucalyptus wood) with a fantastic layout that seems larger than it is, and some really nice practical touches and double uses of space. I have to say the crew cabin in particular is pretty generous for 55 foot. I think I'd take that as a home office!
The boat and yacht salesmen would be well advised to watch how Nick tours a yacht. He never neglects important details like engine rooms, crew quarters/utility cabins, how an enclosure works, etc. It gives the viewer a better idea of both the limitations of the vessel, and the surprising capabilities/possibilities of even some of the smaller ones. This particular boat is very strong in the utility cabin aspect. ("Sickbay" for med equipment and treating minor wounds, party room for your teenager to make a mess in, place to stash Druncle Eddie on big family outings, etc.)
In our case it's Druncle David (brother-in-law) but that's a fine idea. "Go to your personal penalty box David and sleep it off" would be really handy.
Great engineering. Yet, brand new German, Polish, French and Italian boats of similar size and with similar levels of equipment, are selling at almost half price compared to this one. Not sure Sunseeker and Princess can justify those highly premium prices anymore.

Lazy Friday afternoon and an Aquaholic boat movie. Great way to start the weekend👍😀. Really really nice boat. There’s only one minor thing. With Sunseeker I have the feeling they still came not to grips on the idea of fitting a proper bow seating area. Now it’s neither that nor a real sunbathing area with the result both are only half as good as they could be. They should choose for a dominant function, either one, and design and build it. But great boat for sure. One for my shortlist.
Hmmmm, Sunseeker are upping their game here. Solid improvement over the previous model, which is saying something, as the previous model was quite good. The use of the exotic woods and other finishes give this a real, mini super yacht, look and feel. Great boat for cruising in the Med or in the Caribbean. Lovely. Nick, always wondered what sort of % difference is there in maintenance costs&time of shafts vs. IPS. Is there any significant difference in minimum planning speed/cruise/wot / economy? Sorry to Princess but this is my new favorite 50ish fter, sportfly version is only way it could be even better.

I really like the way they've done the cold storage. the 4 drawers looks so much better that the normal habit of plonking a big American-style fridge in the middle of the galley.
Thanks for the great tour, I like her a lot! I can definitely see myself living on it permanently. It's not more expensive or smaller than apartments in normal big cities. I just would turn the 2 bed guest cabine into an office, putting a big side by side fridge where the small freezer/fridge are and also an bigger TV would be nice. And going for the bar setup in the kitchen. And thanks for showing us the "mechanical system" - those in-depth details are one of the reasons we are like you so much 😃 Cheers! :-)
A Few Thoughts: A beautiful Tuesday evening wiht a cocktail and an Aquaholic tour I finally get to sit down and enjoy... Doesn't get any better than this? A "Sunseeker Exclusive"...?!? Well done Mr. B. Well done indeed sir, and well deserved. Why you're not on the payroll for Sunseeker, much less Gulf Craft, Azimut, Horizon, Cranchi, Mangusta, Mengi Yay, Van der Heijden, Galeon, Pearl - you know... Heck, we may even give Princess a couple of tours a month ;-) Just to name a few YOU have been directly responsible for introducing HALF A MILLION FOLLOWERS to. Manufacturers - are you listening? (Nick - when the studios start calling, and they will, you tell 'em I'm your manager and I'll get you plenty of zeros and commas...!) The yacht... It's hard to call that a 'beach club' when the tiny little fold-down bench is not get-at-able (see what I did there?) when you've got shrimp on the BBQ. A 'swim platform' at best. When I virtually walk on to a Sunseeker the first thing I notice are both fit and finish, and the quality of materials. The woodworking is always spot-on as well. Classic Sunseeker...! (I did it again!) Nick........ @ 1:51... What is being 'masked out'? That wasn't there Friday morning. Smoked eucalyptus and silver oak... Just stunning. Not a bit of high gloss wood for little Timmy to run his grubby hands across...! Brilliant. The Aft Galley layout is for me...! It is SO MUCH for a 55-footer. Again, the finishes... Again, @ 3:43 -why the 'masking'...? And on the charging station at that. Sensitive info? Love the Master Cabin, but... The chaise lounge, as attractive as it is, would be terribly uncomfortable. It doesn't ergonomically fit the body, unless you've got an arse the size of the tender...! Redesigned, it could be perfect. Beautiful en suite... An incredible flybridge. This boat would be ideal for 3 couples for a week in the Caribbean...! Thanks again Nick for another perfect tour...! Cheers mate!

Nice to see a bimini topside. Fixed hardtops are ugly and ruin the boat's lines. Flybridge with a bimini makes most sports cruisers redundant.

I love the Sunseeker brand and they've always made a great boat, but I feel in recent years they've just slightly fallen behind - on finish to Princess at the slightly higher price range, and on innovation to Galeon at the slightly lower price range. It's left them a little lost. This really does win them back in both areas though. A gorgeous and thoroughly modern boat (I especially love the eucalyptus wood) with a fantastic layout that seems larger than it is, and some really nice practical touches and double uses of space. I have to say the crew cabin in particular is pretty generous for 55 foot. I think I'd take that as a home office!

The boat and yacht salesmen would be well advised to watch how Nick tours a yacht. He never neglects important details like engine rooms, crew quarters/utility cabins, how an enclosure works, etc. It gives the viewer a better idea of both the limitations of the vessel, and the surprising capabilities/possibilities of even some of the smaller ones.
This particular boat is very strong in the utility cabin aspect. ("Sickbay" for med equipment and treating minor wounds, party room for your teenager to make a mess in, place to stash Druncle Eddie on big family outings, etc.)
In our case it's Druncle David (brother-in-law) but that's a fine idea. "Go to your personal penalty box David and sleep it off" would be really handy.

Great engineering. Yet, brand new German, Polish, French and Italian boats of similar size and with similar levels of equipment, are selling at almost half price compared to this one. Not sure Sunseeker and Princess can justify those highly premium prices anymore.

Lazy Friday afternoon and an Aquaholic boat movie. Great way to start the weekend👍😀. Really really nice boat. There’s only one minor thing. With Sunseeker I have the feeling they still came not to grips on the idea of fitting a proper bow seating area. Now it’s neither that nor a real sunbathing area with the result both are only half as good as they could be. They should choose for a dominant function, either one, and design and build it. But great boat for sure. One for my shortlist.
Is it available a tender garage rather than a crew cabin on the transom?
Hmmmm, Sunseeker are upping their game here. Solid improvement over the previous model, which is saying something, as the previous model was quite good. The use of the exotic woods and other finishes give this a real, mini super yacht, look and feel. Great boat for cruising in the Med or in the Caribbean. Lovely. Nick, always wondered what sort of % difference is there in maintenance costs&time of shafts vs. IPS. Is there any significant difference in minimum planning speed/cruise/wot / economy? Sorry to Princess but this is my new favorite 50ish fter, sportfly version is only way it could be even better.
Shafts tend to be easier and cheaper to maintain, IPS gives you that great joystick manoeuvrability and is reckoned to be more fuel efficient

I really like the way they've done the cold storage. the 4 drawers looks so much better that the normal habit of plonking a big American-style fridge in the middle of the galley.
Thanks for the great tour, I like her a lot! I can definitely see myself living on it permanently. It's not more expensive or smaller than apartments in normal big cities. I just would turn the 2 bed guest cabine into an office, putting a big side by side fridge where the small freezer/fridge are and also an bigger TV would be nice. And going for the bar setup in the kitchen. And thanks for showing us the "mechanical system" - those in-depth details are one of the reasons we are like you so much 😃 Cheers! :-)

A "Sunseeker Exclusive"...?!? Well done Mr. B. Well done indeed sir, and well deserved. Why you're not on the payroll for Sunseeker, much less Gulf Craft, Azimut, Horizon, Cranchi, Mangusta, Mengi Yay, Van der Heijden, Galeon, Pearl - you know... Heck, we may even give Princess a couple of tours a month ;-) Just to name a few YOU have been directly responsible for introducing HALF A MILLION FOLLOWERS to. Manufacturers - are you listening? (Nick - when the studios start calling, and they will, you tell 'em I'm your manager and I'll get you plenty of zeros and commas...!)
The yacht... It's hard to call that a 'beach club' when the tiny little fold-down bench is not get-at-able (see what I did there?) when you've got shrimp on the BBQ. A 'swim platform' at best.
When I virtually walk on to a Sunseeker the first thing I notice are both fit and finish, and the quality of materials. The woodworking is always spot-on as well. Classic Sunseeker...! (I did it again!)

Love the Master Cabin, but... The chaise lounge, as attractive as it is, would be terribly uncomfortable. It doesn't ergonomically fit the body, unless you've got an arse the size of the tender...! Redesigned, it could be perfect. Beautiful en suite...
An incredible flybridge. This boat would be ideal for 3 couples for a week in the Caribbean...!

hi all... don't shoot me down as I'm new to these videos (love them by the way) but i have a question, how sea worthy are they? as in could you travel over the oceans in one or just follow coast line from Port to Port.. apologies if I'm sounding daft lol
Perfectly safe for offshore use as long as the weather is sensible, but you wouldn't cross oceans in them (not the range apart from anything)
