As someone who used to be in an abusive relationship (emotional and physical) This really struck a cord with me. I just wanted to be enough for her and did everything I could to make her happy, but I was killing myself by then and she didn't even care. It took a lot of strength to burn that bridge and get the help I needed, especially as a man. Now I'm with a wonderful woman and I couldn't be happier
