I used to wonder why some people would get so exited when a specific music creator released a new song, or would wait in anticipation for a creator’s songs, but now I get it.
Your songs are so amazing that I listen to them more than probably any other music creator’s songs, and I’m always amazed by the next. I was really exited for this one, as I heard a bit of it from one of your main channel vids, and fell in love immediately!

"I just wish I could see another perspective" just hits so close to home for me with your music.The first song I ever listened to from you was Tokyo and I backtracked to Soul Ashtray so I continue that backtrack with "One wish is all I ask for to help me with this perplexion" , but you never cease to amaze me when you take shots and hit them even around corners. The jam is great and the honey is perfectly sweet, love what you do please keep inspiring.
While it's a shame the sunset beach colours didn't export right.. The contrast adds a surreal kinda meaning. The sun is setting, but the sand is still warm.

@@lifeaccordingtomaxat around 2:30 the sky and character change to sunset colours while the beach remains the same. This was not intentional, and when this was released Ivy mentioned somewhere that it was a rendering error.
I couldn't help but appreciate how such a mistake added a kind of surreal feeling to the art that kinda matched the vibe.

Also the description saying water corrupts all it touches. I’m over-analysing this way too much, I’m probably just creating things out of nothing lol. @@Nova-y3r I think this is right, to me it seems to be using water currents as a parallel to how time never stops moving. "feel the paddles brush the torrent" the paddles are probably like form a kanoe so that could symbolise like everyone having their own 'boat' as in their own life going down the same stream of time. "put up resistance, feel the current" could mean that if you try to not accept or resist the flow of time you will only notice it more and it will seem to go by faster.
This is absolutely amazing, It has a calming vibe to it and makes me feel like I can just relax and listen to it for hours

Noo why does this bring back so many memoriess 😭 the sections of the voice getting deeper or more highpitched and the beat changing and the voice changers all remind me of different past-loved songs and the lyrics remind me of memories of my past and especially the "we used to gather among the stars" and "i have a feeling the past is with us, a memory plagued with lies and sickness" remind me of one special moment in my life..

I believe that this song is about the continuous passage of time and how it shouldnt be disturbed. If it is disturbed (trying to stay up at night to experience more time and stuff along those lines) you will find time flies by faster and you think about it or notice it more "put up resistance feel the current" this displays that if you try to resist the flow of time (the metaphorical river/sea) you will feel the current of time. This also plays into the line "an NPC were not the players" this conveys that we have no control and only a quote unquote "player" can pause and keep control the verses also reprisent looking at the past through rose tinted glasses "we used to gather among the stars, and gaze for snapshots behind the cars" this is akin to looking at the past and our childhood as "pure bliss" but then spiralling into depression hence "stuff a pillow, hide my yowls" thats all, i had a good yapping sesh
