Lifting and developer is bleach. Why does title say otherwise? Burning sensation is a chemical reaction. I’ll definitely be watching this journey before I decide on bleaching my hair. If your hair real hair survives I’ll consider bc my hair is naturally jet black. I noticed extensions lightened first.
lots of videos say the same. people just think because they aren’t using the product clearly labeled “bleach” they aren’t using bleach at all. but i guess they don’t realize there wouldn’t be a way to lift the hair without the chemical. they aren’t trying to trick you or anything, i believe its just a misunderstanding.
From what I noticed with two strands and comb coils (I had comb coils with my starter locs and had them for almost a year and my hair is considered thin) they tend to become thick. Three strand starter locs tend to stay skinny because they are more compact.

@Ashayshay so I do 't want to get my roots. What's the best way to do it
@tanaishajenkins9346 section your hair and use a brush. follow the time directions for roots on the package
@Ashayshay thank u. What do u recommend for bleaching
@tanaishajenkins9346 clariol and l’oréal has worked for me in the past. use a 20 volume developer especially if it’s virgin hair
