Beautiful editing! "JaiLegend" Extraordinary radio! The Dane took 20 minutes and 57 seconds to run the Col de Marie Blanque ,NTT sensors data recorded according to the race. This means he beats Pogačar's time on the climb from 2020 ,when the Slovenian took first stage win in the Tour de France. Here Pogačar completed the climb in 22 minutes and 4 seconds.
Jonas are incredible and can do a power burst uphill like I cannot remember anyone do. He genuinely are built different than most. I do not know if you know this but when Jonas were a teenager, working in a fish filet factory and cycling in the local club, his trainer brought him to the Danish sports facility centre for a test day to test and measure his "values" in different aspects. The staff there soon dropped their jaws to the floor. Jonas ability to transfer oxygen to the blood under high workload where the best measured in a Danish athlete....ever! In that sense it became a pivotal day for Jonas. He clearly already had found the right sport for him. He were incredible last year but seems even stronger this year where he and his team from day 1 after TdF 2022 said they would make a plan with only one goal. To win TdF 2023! After today that goal seems more than realistic. Can Jonas stay out of accidents, Pogacar and company needs to find a gear more.
Great highlights, for it just wasn't stated enough of how crazy it was for a caliber of rider like Hindley to be in the breakaway and to be allowed to gain a minute and more to the favorites. That happens once in 5 or once in 10 years for a 3rd favorite to be allowed to go in the break while being practically on the same time as the other favorites.
@@bobaGogo Yes, I agree, but when have we seen the 3rd favorite of the race be allowed in the break. It's like Almeida going in the break in this year's Giro or Mas going in the break in last year's Vuelta. This never happens.

Van Aert did too much work early in that breakaway group. The climb was tough for many specialist climbers. Hindley and Bora will be tough to beat for either Jumbo or UAE.
@@christelplasa1074 I know that yes, but this was very unusual. Legendary riding that was but still a rarity for him. He is far too big to be a climber.

WOW Jonas being locomotive alone for over 5 kilometres (could be argued it were over 20 KM.) and the passengers took all the bonus seconds by advancing 50 metres before the line. Well, to be fair, Buchmann had Hindley in front, and Ciccone tried to pull, but was apparently called back - presumably due to Skjelmose being in the next group. And Gall looked a bit overcooked in the end. But a free lottery ticket it was!
Buchmann had his teammate in front so he wasn't going to work with Vingegaard. Gall was out in the break all day and animated the race with his attacks so hitching a ride on the back of Vingegaard is all he could probably do. Ciccone could have worked but he probably got team orders not to as they were unlikely to catch Hindley for the stage win and they had their leader Skjelmose trying to close the gap behind. I doubt Vingegaard is too concerned about the time bonuses as he stamped his authority on the race today which is psychologically more important.
@@martinhelgren Yeah, I saw Ciccone tried to take the lead one time in the beginning but he were immediately radioed and ordered to be passenger only and you could see he felt bad about it.
