This is, by far, the best content in sport right now. Each highlight reel feels like a Hollywood blockbuster. The addition of the real-time team radios with the subtitles is absolutely magnificent, as is the music (particularly the classical), and the slow-mo shots of the rabid fans and the emaciated faces at the finish line. This is as close as most of us get to the Tour each year, and well, this is just outstanding. Thank you for producing such amazing highlights for us, for free no less.
Whoever is making these videos is amazing! So well edited. Literally Netflix quality! I love the team radio. I so look forward to watching these each morning and I think a lot of people will get into cycling because of them. Great work!
Watching Tadej attack just as Jonas was next to the flare. If Tadej did this to ensure Jonas didnt hear him coming, this is a highly intelligent move. Wild stuff.
I don't think it was the flare. I think he made up his mind when he took that long glance back and saw that it was just the two of them, neither help nor interference coming up from behind.
In ten years we will look back as the rivalry between Tadej and Jonas as the greatest in TdF history. Not only because of the fierceness of the rivalry that divides but also due to the respect shared between them

I was wondering the same. Appearing to falter on stage five so that the director of Jumbo-Visma would get cocky and try to finish Pogi off on stage six. All that Jumbo-Visma achieved trying to drop Pogi was carry him on their wheels, keeping him fresh and ready to attack at the last minute. Was yesterday's weakness real, or a strategy?

What an incredible day today. Could we be witnessing an even better tour than last year and most people agree last year was one of the best. I think Jumbo were right to go for the jugular of Pog, everything was set up for it. He had a bad day yesterday and they went over 2000m, which was proven to be where Jonas distanced Pog last couple of years. Pog just got over the hurdle and the final climb looked to be more in favour of Pog, if we look at earlier in season. That being said, listening to Jumbo radio, they were convinced Pog was shot. It is only stage 6 but we have just witnessed 2 of the best days in the mountains with the pendulum swinging from one extreme to the other. I don't think we could have dreamed to have a 1 and 2 separated by only 25 seconds. Finally I just want to say just how lucky we all are to be watching this generation of riders, tradition has gone out of the window and they just go full gas day after day. It is like a breath of fresh air.
9:23 is the picture that sums up why this is the best rivalry I've ever witnessed in the Tour (following it since the early 90s): Jonas and Tadej push each other to the absolute limit, there's no waiting, waiting, waiting and hoping for a single climb to make a difference like in some years past; they respect each other, the race is fair, yet they are always in attack mode, even if it's just for bonus seconds. And this stage... Jumbo-Visma did brilliant, brilliant work. The help Jonas has all around, but in particular from Wout and Sepp is unmatched. In my opinion they rode a flawless stage, Tadej was out of teammates early - and he beat them anyway, with a monster of a final acceleration. To me, Pogacar is without a doubt the best rider but Jumbo has probably both the second and third best guys along with a super-domestique and great tactics on the same team. Which makes for incredible entertainment. THANK YOU! To them, to the editing team of the Tour, to the Tour for supporting these phenomenal highlights, to the commentators and to GCN as well for their passionate and competent live coverage. I don't know whether they are on some PED's or not which I'm sure they are on. But still, to perform on such brutal conditions, situations, that should be respected. None of us could even come within 30 minutes or an hour though with the best of the best PED's on the planet. So, that's admirable. ✌🏻
