i got that gun like 2 weeks ago and i love shooting it at duck, rabbits, squirrels and geese and i am 10 and i have been hunting for 7 years love the hunting keep up the good work :)
Good shooting Mat and show, if you put a small shelf in front of the feeding trough and just below, they will sit on that to feed eliminating corpses in the feeder. crack on and keep them coming.atb Phil.
Excellent and entertaining show as always Mr. Manning, and fine shooting. You mentioned in the show how "Chilly" it was, but never mention a temperature. I'm just curious as to how cold it was that day. Here in the States in Indiana our temperature has been up and down like a yo-yo as of late. 60's F. for a couple of days and then down to single digits Fahrenheit for several days and nights. It makes planing a outdoor shooting session a challenge to say the least. Thanks for the show, and good hunting to you.
+Bionicycle The temperature had been down to about -5C on the previous night and rose to about 3C during the shoot. Not cold by many shooters' standards but pretty chilly in my neck of the woods. All the best, Mat.
any animal that is not native to a country usually causes a lot of environmental damage. grey squirrel have no natural predators, damage trees and eat the eggs of birds nesting in trees. matt comes across has a nice guy and i'm sure would not let the squirrels intentionally suffer, his accurate shooting is testament to that. why can't we watch programmes like this on late night tv?
Usually the old seasoned vet will set up and bark to warn that there's a predicator is near .( Good thing to clip that gonging bugger ) the day ends. If you don't. good hunting
+woodenz Quite agree, especially in UK. If you want to use an assault rifle then join the military. Not sure these rifles do the image of the airgun community any good whatsoever.
+TriggerPullTV Thanks. My single shot preference is down to confidence. Most of the FAC-rated airguns I've shot tend to be a little more accurate without the mag - it seems they're more pellet fussy and more susceptible to imperfections in ammo, possibly resulting from pellets getting clipped very slightly by the mag. The difference is negligible with the Mk4, but I still feel more confident using it as a single shot. All the best, Mat.
Shame someone can't make a serious M4 type airgun, it's great rival, the AK74 has a CO2 BB replica available, apparently made by Kalashnikov themselves. And to all those critics of military rifles, they were all military rifles at one time, as the science of ergonomics has progressed the shape of the modern assault rifle (not machine gun as Mat called it) has emerged. They don't have to be black either, IMHO they look better in colours other than black. Incidentally, take the dummy magazine out of the Crosman, and try it in the FT over-arm position, I think you'll find it fits rather well, an ergonomic consideration Eugene Stoner never envisaged when he designed the M4 series rifles grandfather, the M16.
+lurcher lurcher Hi. The single shot converter on the Mk4 is a Westy Tray from Smooth Shooting - it's got a high wall on one side of the channel, so you can throw pellets in without risk of them rolling out the other side. All the best, Mat.
SPORTS Gamer you can hunt in your own property if you have whatever you are looking for. If you now someone that has the animals ask for promotion to hunt there. You can also look up public land.
I have watched a lot of your hunting videos and admire the quality of shooting; both the airgun and the video! I have a question which you may have answered before: What's the thought behind single loading your rifle? Is it more accurate than shooting a magazine.
+functor1 I've noticed that FAC-rated airguns can be a little more pellet-fussy than lower powered models, and this can sometimes compromise accuracy when the magazine is fitted. The effect is usually minimal, and hardly noticeable with the MK4 - but it helps my confidence to know it's performing to optimum accuracy. All the best, Mat.
Austin Davis - I don't see the comment you sent me here - but, I really don't believe you - I have lots of squirrels, they don't do any discernible damage at all. Everything about the video implies you are having fun killing. - the excitement and glee are plain to see.. and don't give me the 'kill to eat' thing, you kill too many for that and it is not necessary anyway. it's uncalled for - and the camo gear is just way too wannabe. I find squirrels very entertaining to watch, and they quickly develop a trust for humans who don't try to butcher them, I have a large number that take food from my hand - which is far more satisfying than killing them...and they are consummate gymnasts. They do no harm, and are worth more than the split second of pleasure you get when you kill them
If squrels gt in you attic thy will chew on your electric wiring and cut holes iareas around your roof to gain access nto your attic. Then it takes fox urine to get them out i know from experience..
Great job on the squirrels there, Matt, nice and clinical, just the way we like it ;-)
+Squirrel Hunter Glad you liked it. Cheers, Mat.

+Greg Baker Thanks Greg. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Mat

+hunter100t Useful tip, Phil. Thanks
Excellent show. Watching you ages but that theme tune is ear poison haha
Stephen O'Rourke ha ha ha ha ha awesome dude 😂😂😂
You should add your tally to the video, seems incomplete without a tally and a round up.
A small gripe, the video was excellent as always.
Thx Matt, learn such a lot from your show!

hey could you perhaps do a review of a multi pump pneumatic like a crosman pumpmaster or a webley rebel?
Usually the old seasoned vet will set up and bark to warn that there's a predicator is near .( Good thing to clip that gonging bugger ) the day ends. If you don't. good hunting
brilliant, matt
A good vid as ever , a bit concerned with the Crossman looking like a military assault rifle though ........
+woodenz Quite agree, especially in UK. If you want to use an assault rifle then join the military. Not sure these rifles do the image of the airgun community any good whatsoever.
Marketing, everything has to look tacti-cool, you know
Seems to be a problem with some of the audio.
you must change that bloody music at the start, one has to mute it and it spoils your great videos.
Binney John negative, I love the nice music at the start, so do millions of others..... So please enjoy!
Cool video great filming. Yet; you, could not be eating the squirrel's correct? Or am I inept???
I hate to ask silly questions, do you get to keep all that Deerstalker clothing
Great freehand shooting on those squirrels Matt. Out of curiosity, why don't you use the Daystate magazine in the Mk4?
+TriggerPullTV i was thinking the same and he seems to be able to put pellet in without a lot of effort so wether its just for show

Please, please, please change the title music, the dogs all run off over the hill when it starts and it takes me all of the show to get them back. Ta.
+Chris-Charlie Phillips Agreed. Another news reader would be nice too!
great music great hunting video

Show!
The 'machine gun' Airgun is an insult to airguns. Why even review it?
Fuck sake Kev.
Way to much talk. More shooting please.
