Same here. Like as i always say to other FF fan's, every ff games have their pro's and con's. But they are all amazing and beautiful in their own way. Before, im also one of the people that saying "ff13 sucks! And most horrible ff in there" but everything changes when i actually played it for the sake of my curiosity. At first, i really having a hard time understanding the paradigms (that's also the reason why i hated it before lol) but after some minutes of understanding, I devoured a lot of enemies because of it lol

Final Fantasy 9... Final Fantasy 9. I have so many words to say, but alas i cant spend hours typing a comment on youtube can I? Final fantasy 9 was not the first final fantasy i played, but it is certainly my favorite. Every aspect about it was completely perfect for me, every single one. The fact that Kuja and Zidane being brothers i think is the second biggest twist i have ever seen in the world of video gaming. Final Fantasy 9 is my favorite game of all time without a doubt, and every time i hear melodies of life, i cry. Now that probably makes me a huge wimp but i don't care. A real man is a man who cries, and i'm only 14. So to you men who think "It's unmanly to cry" No it's not. Now back to FF9. There arent enough words in existence to describe my love for it. So... all i have to say is this. Final Fantasy 9 in my opinion, is the best game of all time.

PlayerUp has the right of it, Necron felt like an awfully rushed and random final boss.
I love it. And the first time I heard it when I ran it on my PC right after finishing X, I felt like I was starting to watch the second season of a tv show. It was magical 😊

GameRex the soundtracks of FF6 was really good it’s the only thing I liked of FF6 the story was ok but the gameplay was so easy it just made the game boring the enemies and bosses were easy to kill and Kefka? Dancing mad isn’t really for him I thought kefka would be that one final boss that would scare you but when I saw him in his final form I had no reaction for me kefka is like a failed-to-scare-off-the-kids type of final boss

For me Final fantasy 4 is the best game. I played all final fantasy from 1 to 12 Not 13 and 14 because i don't like them. I love also final fantasy 2,6,7,8 and 10 but the 4 was my first game it's amazing. The world map is beautiful especially from 8:15 To 8:48.... I'm crying

XIII totally sounds like a Naruto ending. Imagine Sakura walking alone along a way, camera on her back, then you see her turning around, crying just a single tear, but you just see her below her eyes. when a strong storm comes up, she is surrounded by cherry blossoms and a thunderbolt comes down to earth, leaving a silhouette of Sasuke - but its just an imagination of Sakura. Another thunderbolt, then a clear cut into her mind, she remembers all the things she experienced with team 7. Later on, you see her sitting on her bed, looking at that old picture of her childhood and the beginning of the time with Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi - again, just a single tear drops on the picture. When the music begins to get louder, stronger and more impulsive, the scenery changes to the present time: Sasuke and Naruto fighting Madara with Sakura watching it, confused and helpless, just hoping her love Sasuke will survive all the pain Madara brings to the world. Stay tuned what will happen...
I love all of these (except XI and XIV....never played the online games). Melodies of Life makes me tear up everytime I hear it!! I think the director must have given Uematsu one word to get a main theme for FFIX: "nostalgia". And he freaking nailed it. It really does make you think of the past, memories (good and bad), and trying to hold on to what you had. And actually, I was expecting "The Promise" to be the main theme from FFXIII...I mean so many tracks in the game are built around that theme--Serah's Theme, The Sunleth Waterscape, The Archylte Steppe, etc...

Anonim Felis You are not the only one. I'm finished FFVI again on an android emulator recently and... To be completelly sincere, after years of experience with the genre, the overall system is so simplistic and weak. It got old and dated. A remake could improve the system, that would make FFVI the ultimate jrpg, because the game got easily the best set of characters and the best villain of the entire series. No clear protagonist is the genius touch of FFVI.

Claudio what you think is the main theme of XII appears in almost every FF Game, I think it first appeared on FF IV. It's one of the FF main themes, maybe the most important one. It marks the points of victory of love, light and peace over darkness. Still amazing!

With exception of V and VIII, which Nobuo said that for V the theme which plays in the title and "Eyes on Me" are the main theme. But the video is correct in all aspects. They are the games main theme.

Can some of you veterans maybe list the songs as they play here? As a gamer from South Africa, I got very late exposure to FF, the first I played was X-2, can you believe it! But now that I'm older, I've finished IV, X, X-2, XIII and working on VII.
Maybe it has already been written but you should have upload the theme of the real episodes and the theme of the remasterised game (I mean NES for FF I, II, III Snes for FF IV, etc...) and their PsP theme or what you think is the best and not a "random theme" (for instance FF I and FF II are not the NES themes and FF III is the NES theme), nevertheless it's a good work. It could be good to have the time of each music too.
4, 6, 7, and 9's themes are my favorites. (probably has to do with the fact that they're my favorite ff games too.) now in which order... that's a difficult one.
I like the concept of this video but I must say that not all of these themes are the main themes for these game, they are still important themes for their respective games though.The truth is that as the soundtracks for final fantasy games got longer and the story lines got deeper is was just not logical to restrict the game to only one main theme so Uematsu began composing a collection of important and reoccurring themes for each game instead of just one.

Using the main theme as Overworld songs it's a tradition in the Final Fantasy series.
With exception of V and VIII, which Nobuo said that for V the theme which plays in the title and "Eyes on Me" are the main theme.
But the video is correct in all aspects. They are the games main theme.
Vlykarye Hazel Not sure why you don't think overworld songs can also be the main theme of some of the games. Just search "FF7 main theme" and you'll find the map song not the prelude :P And thanks, but not planning to change the name of the video lol.

Square Enix call them Main Songs, so they are main songs because they are the developers, and period. There is nothing to give a opinion about because is something the developers themselves already solidified as being the truth. No debate here.
Saying "Main Song is a matter of opinion" it's like saying "Final Fantasy being called Final Fantasy is a opinion. I personally call it Super Cuckoo Land Adventure!"
NataliaNeeSama agree with u.i am a chinese,in our point of view that theme song and prelude are totally diffrentent things.but in addition to a situation is a prelude could be the theme song,we can always see it happened on TV program.so i think this is why we guys debate on it.finally,i would like to say this title is nothing wrong.thanks for finalfantasyfreakk 's work,i really enjoy your video.
I like 13 ending theme and its sequal even tho i didnt like the game then i like 12s ending theme then 10s was cool 8 was pretty and then theres 9 i will always love that game and its theme

As a gamer from South Africa, I got very late exposure to FF, the first I played was X-2, can you believe it! But now that I'm older, I've finished IV, X, X-2, XIII and working on VII.
My bad, I see they're all linked xD.
Maybe it has already been written but you should have upload the theme of the real episodes and the theme of the remasterised game (I mean NES for FF I, II, III Snes for FF IV, etc...) and their PsP theme or what you think is the best and not a "random theme" (for instance FF I and FF II are not the NES themes and FF III is the NES theme), nevertheless it's a good work. It could be good to have the time of each music too.
4, 6, 7, and 9's themes are my favorites. (probably has to do with the fact that they're my favorite ff games too.) now in which order... that's a difficult one.

Uh... not all of these are the main themes. For example, XI's main theme is actually Memora De La Stono. On here is simply the login screen music.

I like the concept of this video but I must say that not all of these themes are the main themes for these game, they are still important themes for their respective games though.The truth is that as the soundtracks for final fantasy games got longer and the story lines got deeper is was just not logical to restrict the game to only one main theme so Uematsu began composing a collection of important and reoccurring themes for each game instead of just one.
