      No. We’re supposed to have this thing called freedom here in the USA. Even being 5150d is violating his human right. Freedom can be dangerous, but that’s still always better than stripping someone of their liberty. Now if he breaks the law, that’s another matter. Give him a sentence if he earns one, but taking away his liberties otherwise is not okay.

      It's horrifying, they are terrified and confused. Their own brain telling them that the entire world will kill them. While, it's actually the brain that's deteriorating during these episodes. The brain is getting damaged, much like the damage you see in the patient with dementia.
      The earlier you can get on meds and lessen the episodes, the less damage done.
      It's heartbreaking to be the caregiver for someone you love, while sleeping with one eye open in case they think the tv told them you're in cahoots with the fbi....
      These laws need some sort of middle ground. Obviously the laws are there for a reason, but we have to find solutions better than waiting it out.

      @obnoxiousbluebird6634 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +52

      The trouble is when a person gets past the point of registering (or caring) how much they need help before they start hurting others, and it's then up to the people close to them to let them know they need to stop/get help etc. But when you're surrounded by people who may even benefit from your breakdown, who keep acting as if you're completely fine, who encourage that kind of behaviour for months/years, it makes the person ignore any personal red flags they actually do see, and allow themselves to regress/progress even further into whatever dysfunction they have.

    My ex husband had manic episodes. He refused medicatiin and treatment. His last episode was long and terrifying. He got violent with me and others, and we have a son. Our son has always lived with just me. My ex would show up to my sons school 2 hours before pickup time and wait outside for him to come out, hoping i wouldn't be there on time so he could take him. He was homeless, on hard dr*gs and it was winter. He wanted to take my son and run away to a random mountain and "live off grid" even though he had no money, no friends, no car, nothing. My son was terrified of his own father.
    Seeing Fousey yell in some of these clips was really awful and made me anxious. I think someone needs to take away his internet access, or he is going to continue to spiral until something truly terrible happens.

      @@one-eyepadidally8449 1 is always the one you hear about most because they tend to be like Fousy. Mania is the ruler. They tend to go off their meds more because the mania is like a drug. It also lasts longer. With a 2, depression is the ruler. Yes we have manic episodes but the manias aren’t as high so they call it hypomania, and definitely don’t last as long as 1s. We tend to stay on our meds more, especially if well regulated, because the depression sucks of course. There is a bipolar 3 and it’s harder to diagnose because it’s more regulated. And there’s unipolar, which almost like 3 but think flat affect on everything. It’s not the same as “stable” or sociopathic or psychopathic (those are thought disorders and polars are mood disorders) but they are just flat, the emotions they feel, or don’t feel are drastically muted. Also, women can get what they call pregnancy induced bipolar disorder which is the onset of bipolar disorder or extreme worsening of it after pregnancy. Think Britney Spears when you hear that. With women our cycles make regulating our disorders harder. I was my most stable before I started all that fun stuff and after I had a hysterectomy.
      I hope I helped.

    After bringing my friend in crisis to a Miami hospital last year, we found ourselves placed in the hospital bed next to Fousey just days after his meltdown and fake hostage situation. He kept hurling insults at me and all those around us.
    That said, I felt bad for him. The nurses said had been there for two days without a single visitor. They explained that if someone had come to get him, he would have been discharged sooner. But because no one did, he ended up being held for the maximum time, with the medical staff ignoring him due to his behavior.

    I live with bipolar disorder mixed episodes along with severe CPTSD with anxiety and paranoia. Fousey is severely manic. Based off his behavior, he's either 1) under medicated, 2) over medicated, 3) has no form of support, and 4) making active decisions to harm himself and others. His God-like complex reminds me of my recent psychosis, and maybe we're witnessing him slowly fall from mania into a form of manic-induced psychosis or psychosis itself. Watching someone living with any type of bipolar disorder is extremely scary. I feel for him. His actions say otherwise.

I didn't get my phone back until the end of my hospitalization. I had access to a payphone in the hallway to call my family as much as I wanted until it was time for bed. That phone was a lifeline. Even though I knew that I was where I needed to be, I missed them so much.

    Anyway Fousey keeps asking for help. Like it seems genuine. He even called the cops one type saying he needed help granted he was manic as fuck. But dude is genuinely asking for help multiple times. I feel bad for him at this point, I do hope he gets help. Bipolar mania is a hell of a thing.

    • @CC-qx7hk
      @CC-qx7hk 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes but also I can't imagine him having a great time and being immersed in the mental health field, it's hard to not see him trapped behind the mania. I don't think anyone wants to be this way. And there's a big chance he can see it, feel horrific because of it, and is unable to stop himself without professional help. Getting that help for people who are incredibly manic is very very difficult. The only reason he isn't homeless is probably because of his lolcow status at this point which feeds into it all. He's a shitty weirdo grifter, but I also see him as a human and seeing people suffering shouldn't illicit, "Well he's shit so he deserves it." That makes you just as shitty
      If we don't like him because he's shitty to others then how are we different being shitty to others who we deem as deserving it. He may feel the same way about the people he's shitty too, too.
      Like let me put it this way. He is t just mentally ill. He isn't just severely mentally ill. He is genuinely mentally disabled because he clearly can't live a normal life because of his mental illness.

    • @CC-qx7hk
      @CC-qx7hk 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All I know is people with mania suffer and don't seek help. He isn't just mentally ill, or even severely mentally ill, he's straight up genuinely mentally disabled technically. Without his lolcow status he would most likely be in the streets.
      Don't forget why we dislike Fousey and try not to do the same to him. Otherwise we become like him. In his eyes the people he treats like shit "deserve it." In our eyes his misfortune and the shit we give him is something he "deserves." So at which point do we separate ourselves from a shitty person and become a good person despite doing the same exact thing as them?

    Bipolar is a serious mental illness and can be very complicated. I want to say he needs to just stay on his meds, but it doesn't always work like that. When you've been on the medication for awhile you feel like it's something you can get off of and be "normal". Or it takes a while to find the right medication. It's tricky. You could say it's not an excuse for his behavior, but being bipolar isn't something you can control. One of the main symptoms is being impulsive. Manic to depressed to delusions. I encourage people to research bipolar disorder. It's more than just getting mad uncontrollably or whatever the common misconception is.

I got to say people on the “far” left , which it’s not the far left the democrat party has stupidly mainstreamed this shit to get votes, has got to be at the lowest level of IQ or practical thinking within it ranks ever in its history. Between the WPATH files and all the Covid/vaccine data the left truly rejects science, hell I’ll go there even with climate change the nonsense they spit against what the actual data is make it impossible for me to be apart of t’my former party. They’ve gone off the rails, there is no firm grasp on reality there.. and truly an embarrassment.. but hey orange man bad right !! Not sure how saying that over and over again relates to any TRUTHFUL criticism besides you don’t find his grooming practices attractive but once again this is what the left has right now , this is how deep they go !

      Him thinking the internet will forget him isnt being a narcissist, its literally the dark thoughts creeping in as hes coming down from a manic episode. When you swing away from manic you go depressed and one of the most common thoughts is being alone and no one would miss you if you just ended it all, no one would even care. Then you spiral. The dude is sick and he just needs to get help and also away from all the people enabling him because it benefits them.

    I know someone who has pretty severe bipolar disorder like Fousey and it’s very hard to watch.
    The guy I know has been on meds for years and is generally pretty “normal” but when he has manic episodes he always thinks his meds “have small secret government trackers” in them and refuses to take them, after that you will see him slowly spiral into madness until he is forcefully hospitalized to get back on his meds.
    When he’s unmediated and in a manic episode he is definitely a possible danger to the general public.
    Obviously he doesn’t mean to do anything bad and completely doesn’t understand that the things he is doing in that state are insane, but he can’t be trusted to consistently take his meds on his own.
    So 2 years ago his family stepped in, he is now living in a psych ward for the criminally insane (has been there for 2 years now), he is court ordered to take his meds everyday, and is never allowed outside the building unless 1. he has been taking his meds willingly everyday 2. has had his psychiatrist do a quick mental evaluation with him the day before to make sure he is thinking clearly 3. and that he will have someone to constantly keep a sharp eye on him while he’s outside the hospital like if he goes out to a restaurant for lunch with his family.
    It’s so incredibly sad to see, he was in college when he first started showing signs of bipolar, and was on track to have a great life considering where he grew up.
    There is always a chance that the doctors at his hospital may find a combination of meds or a treatment that work really well for him and he could be released one day, but that is extremely unlikely because his manic episodes are usually very severe.
    Mental disorders like this are the worst, there’s no reason why he ended up getting it, there’s nothing that could have been done to prevent him from getting it, and there’s no one to blame for what he has become because of it. Sometimes life is just cruel.

      From what I’ve gathered I think he definitely knew something not normal was happening in his head but he didn’t know what to do about it and probably felt pretty embarrassed about it and tired to hide it.

    I went to a residential facility for six months and I think that this is what Fousey needs too. He is just completely out of it. He just needs a safe and managed space that he can’t just leave because he wants to. Being manic can become dangerous for him and those around him. He needs to get off the internet, find a nice residential that can help him, and get medicated. I used to be similar in my behaviors, going missing, having the ego of a billionaire, acting in these ways because I wanted the attention. At this point I don’t think he’s healthy enough to manage himself anymore. A residential would be my ultimate suggestion where they can rehabilitate him, get him on a good schedule, set him up for success when he leaves, and can teach him how to handle these outbursts. If I hadn’t gone, I’d probably be in a ditch somewhere right now with no one to come recognize or find me.

    Ever since The KICK CrashOut of 2023, I have been expecting and dreading hearing about Fousey's demise or about him having to be institutionalized for the rest of his life because he's just too far gone. I'm glad that he's still with us but it's sad to see that he's still spiraling downward. I know he claims that he was misdiagnosed (which DOES happen!) but like with Kanye, I see Fousey as the ultimate cautionary tale when it comes to managing one's Bipolar condition. I didn't get my diagnosis until after my own CrashOut that led to a 8-10 day stay in a mental ward. As much as I needed to be there and am grateful that I ended up in an excellent ward with awesome staff, I swore that I would never go back. I was all alone for the first time at 29 years old. I cried myself to sleep every night because I was so lonely and scared. Thankfully, my family was waiting to welcome me back with open arms. I'm where I'm at now because I had decided that I wanted to GET and STAY better. As scary and unfamiliar as getting better has been, I no longer miss the 1000mph chaos that my mind used to be. I just passed my 2 year anniversary of sobriety and I've never been happier. Fousey keeps pushing away anyone who questions him and he's been scaring the hell out of everyone who genuinely cares for him for over 15 years with this Cycle. He's been consumed by Clout and Cash. He doesn't see himself outside of the Internet. His self esteem, his identity, his EVERYTHING is wrapped up in the Internet and if he doesn't get himself under control, we really WILL never see him again. And although he's a grown man who has decided to stay in the downward spiral, when he reaches the bottom, when the absolute worst happens? His blood will be soaking the hands of those who Enabled him so they could line their pockets and up their Clout Levels. My heart goes out to his true friends and loved ones. And although I'm done with organized religion? I'm going to light a candle and pray for Fousey to find Peace. Whether it's in this life or the next, I hope he finds Peace. ❤️🕊️

    No, the dude does not deliberately ruin his own life. He is bipolar, and sadly he has huge platform and is surrounded by the enablers. It is easy to say "he should just stop" but it isn't that easy. And especially not in the state of mania. Yes, he might later see what went wrong, even stick to his meds, to his safe plan... but as soon as it creeps back on him/he gets triggered it goes really downhill. Especially because he becomes easy target to exploit by other "content creators" that egg him on/enable him. And sadly, at the begining he gets rewarded with views and money, so it only makes him spiral more.
    Situations like this are really tough, as I am against limiting people's freedom... but here there should be some temporary conservatorship being quickly triggered as soon as he exhibits signs of mania. And I underscore temporary, we do not want another Britney or Bam conservatorship scam.

    as someone who deals with extreme mental health issues hearing him spiraling is extremely sad. yes, to a degree he does it to himself but the blacking out, feeling like the best person in the world and no one can touch him, isolating himself, and delusions that dont align with reality is extremely hard for the person to understand/tell that they are having a manic episode until after. i doubt most the time he can tell & thats why they get him committed.
