I find myself feeling no sympathy for a guy that took advantage of a completely wasted stranger at an airport whom stated they had already been a victim of human trafficking, and thought it was funny until his community turned on him. The crux of the issue is that he cannot think outside of himself, whether it's good or bad. I saw this coming a mile away…..Fousey just wasn’t stable enough to handle fame and fortune. There is no way he could keep it all together while he refused to get help to get himself under control. There was just no way he wasn’t going to screw it all up while he was still going manic on a daily basis. Fousey doesn’t understand this and maybe he never will but they did him a huge favor by canceling his contract (just like Fousey did the people he fired a huge favor) as Fousey probably would have ended up in prison.
It's a cyclical self-fulfilling prophecy. As a bipolar person, our lives are about finding peace and balance. That amount of fame and wealth will never be good for his regulation. It's impossible to have a grip on reality when your reality isn't real, even if you aren't neurodivergent. Unless Fousey is able to learn to create completely different content that will give him a better enviroment, or just disconnect from online life, he will never break this cycle. He's done some really fucked up stuff, but I do think there is a good person in there, and I hope they find peace one day.

I think the problem with being in a true manic phase is that sometimes there is literally nothing you can do to stop yourself, even if you know its there. I met a lady who had bankrupted herself by buying a house she couldn't afford. When she came out of her manic phase she realized how badly shed f* up but it was too late to go back on the deal so she was in the clinic whilst desperately trying to sell the house. Another girl I met was presenting "normal", finished her lunch and then began casually eating her glass, cutting up her mouth before doctors could stop her. I think a lot of people don't realize that Manic phases can last for months in extreme cases and that being in a manic phase isn't always running down the road wiggling your arms like a loon. You can be in the middle of a manic phase and absolutely ace an interview and present as completely fine and normal to others, leading you to convincing people you can afford the house or the sports car or the round-the-world cruise when you absolutely cant. Or in this case that you should get a 100mil deal, only to lose it once the mania makes you presentably manic. Poor guy definitely needs professional help and to be removed from his yes-men

From someone who suffered a psychotic episode 2.5 years ago, his behavior is VERY similar and familiar. In my experience, I voluntarily admitted myself to the hospital and got the treatment that was needed at the time. When you don't voluntarily get treated, this is often the end result. Get help before you hurt yourself or worse, someone else.
Get help from a proper place. I voluntarily checked myself in 2 years ago to a place in VA named Poplar springs. Made it to the top 10 worst experiences I ever had. Pills shoved down ur throat by 6am, you listen to the ceiling electricity for 2 hours and then you get breakfast. 1 activity a day, usually with paper like a damn homework page, scarcely went outside. We had PE once in the two weeks I stayed. Some of these places will rock you worse than you went in, voluntarily or not.

I saw this coming a mile away…..Fousey just wasn’t stable enough to handle fame and fortune. There is no way he could keep it all together while he refused to get help to get himself under control. There was just no way he wasn’t going to screw it all up while he was still going manic on a daily basis. I think the problem with being in a true manic phase is that sometimes there is literally nothing you can do to stop yourself, even if you know its there. I met a lady who had bankrupted herself by buying a house she couldn't afford. When she came out of her manic phase she realized how badly shed f* up but it was too late to go back on the deal so she was in the clinic whilst desperately trying to sell the house. Another girl I met was presenting "normal", finished her lunch and then began casually eating her glass, cutting up her mouth before doctors could stop her.
I think a lot of people don't realize that Manic phases can last for months in extreme cases and that being in a manic phase isn't always running down the road wiggling your arms like a loon. You can be in the middle of a manic phase and absolutely ace an interview and present as completely fine and normal to others, leading you to convincing people you can afford the house or the sports car or the round-the-world cruise when you absolutely cant. Or in this case that you should get a 100mil deal, only to lose it once the mania makes you presentably manic.

From someone who suffered a psychotic episode 2.5 years ago, his behavior is VERY similar and familiar. In my experience, I voluntarily admitted myself to the hospital and got the treatment that was needed at the time. When you don't voluntarily get treated, this is often the end result. Get help before you hurt yourself or worse, someone else.
Get help from a proper place. I voluntarily checked myself in 2 years ago to a place in VA named Poplar springs. Made it to the top 10 worst experiences I ever had. Pills shoved down ur throat by 6am, you listen to the ceiling electricity for 2 hours and then you get breakfast. 1 activity a day, usually with paper like a damn homework page, scarcely went outside. We had PE once in the two weeks I stayed. Some of these places will rock you worse than you went in, voluntarily or not.
