    I'm watching this video during the "pandemic" and I am thinking what kind of meds is the host on?
    I think I would of loved to have a clear conversation with the "this, that and the other fellow.
    I'll say this, "He loves his 22s".
    And that's good enough for me...

    It got scary at the end talking, need skill level to operate in field, not for beginners, committed to the "system" to field a global system... blah blah. They are just guns, 22's not hard guns to shoot. I have a MkIII and Buckmark, both great guns, and they're for plunking not world holocaust zombie apocalypse global system.... Mine are pretty stock. Have Bushnell Red Dot on one; no need for trigger jobs, they both shoot nicely.

      +gmcjetpilot Amen, brother. Im not a beginner, but by no means an expert shot either. My buckmark was fantastic out of the box and still is. My dad has had Mk IIs and MKIIIs, and a Mk II was the first pistol that I ever shot. How one of these is difficult to operate, that is a complete mystery. And as far as disassembly in the field and needing tools, who cares. 99.99999% of people will never disassemble their gun in the field out of necessity. If you maintain one of these it will literally never need to be taken apart or need components replaced. This was a pointless rambling with no objective or conclusion except to show how many of these seemingly identical guns are in his possession currently.....

    Nice collection. I just wish people would stop calling all firearms "WEAPONS" in their videos. It's not helping us (gun lovers). It sounds even more laughable when applied to target pistols. Please guys... They are pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, etc.... Just don't call them weapons...

    I was here and tried to watch this video some eight months ago, and I am still trying to understand what the heck you're saying. It is clear that apparently I'm not the only one who is stuck in trying to figure out what you said.
    So here's a plan,...why not re-do this video , slow down, and say what you mean but S L O W L Y ?.

    So if I understood you correctly, your objective was/is to obtain or create the best "survivor" pistol. I think you're reinventing the wheel. It's simply a matter of what's most comfortable for you, or what best suits your needs. When you "do a trigger job" in addition to installing a Volquartsen kit, would you mind detailing your steps? Thanks in advance; I appreciate it. Thanks for the video. Lots of nice rimfires on the table there.

    well i didn't get his point either. rambling on and on. i'm making this comment to warn against the newer buck marks. i paid up for one just today and probs after four rounds thru the 2nd mag. the browning guy was full of excuses, try this try that, yada yada. so i did. and the same old crap would not eject , the ejector had bent in just 14 shots. thankfully my dealer is a stand up guy gave me a full refund. the older model had a good rep. just beware of the new ones. this is just my opinion, results may vary

    Buckmark's are finicky as shit. Ruger all the way!

    • @pickin4you
      @pickin4you 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sherpaful Now I have had the exact opposite experience. My Buckmark never jammed, but my MK III would every now and then, and on good CCI Mini Mags. I don't shoot cheap bulk ammo.

    • @realitybites4649
      @realitybites4649 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sherpaful I own them both, and the SW 22A. all are as equally accurate, my preference is the Buckmark, not as heavy, good fit for my hand and not finicky at all, my main gripe with the Ruger is that i need to blow with a gun spray a couple of times when i go shooting no matter what ammo I use. now in 22lr rifles nothing beats my plain ol Ruger 10/22.

    Nice rifles! Er, pistols. Nice we got at least one safety check! I love my .22s for plinking at the range or in the desert. But exactly where “in the field” do I have to worry about a mass-produced rimfire to perform perfectly reliable?
