    Great to see a fellow RX3 (Giant Killer) giving the V8 a very good run for it's money. Another lap or two and I think you would have had him. Excellent driving and great footage.

      Yeah I think the commodore is purposely built for the track that’s why it was keeping ahead like u can hear the square cut gears and everything

    Being a former RX 3 owner that had an atmo 13 b the sound is unique and intoxicating the only thing we needed to see was the ten foot flames out the back just fantastic

      Coil over on the front. Leaf springs rear. 4 piston calipers front, 2 piston rear. Nothing fancy.

    Was all over him...shows how they even them self out...straight line torque/top end against superior corner rpm and underbreak ability

    The mazda has 2 rotors and bm has 8 piston, 1 rotor is like 3 piston, so it is like mazda with 6 piston and bm with 8

      We have to multiply our capacity by 1.8. The 12A has been machined down to make it under 2LT.

      Na all the rx3 needs is 20b peripheral port then mazda will smoke the commodore hundred percent.

    great defense by the v8 but goddamn the rx3 was still all over him despite misshifting, TWICE. no hate on the v8 but the rotary probably just needed to penetrate once and then he'll smoke the v8. theres a pretty similar video from sydney motor park where an fb raced 2 v8s and was just behind the two till he passed both at the last lap and left them in the dust.

      Leaf spring rear end does not like riding kerbs. His lines are the fastest, unless he is blocking. I always make mistakes.
