Sad to see the legend being taken out. I'm sure that 5.9 will be a beast though 😎

How the hell do you get the motor off the motor mount without a ball end -without stripping the screw heads???????

Take the top off the motor 1st then you can undo the motor mount screws easier and faster

I think I will order a Savage X 4.6 GT-6 when the weather gets better again, I always wanted a Savage when I was a kid, but didnt had the money for the hobby. HPI was REALLY big in Germany during the early 2000s. One question: is that center skid plate DIY, or can you get one somewhere?

I got that skid plate off eBay, the name was GPM I believe

Hi xxyannuschxx just wanted to let you know if you shop around you can build a savage x from scratch and save 2 to 3 hundred dollars. dollar hobbys has most of the parts for cheap there a couple of parts that are a little over priced but for the most part they have good deals free shipping for any thing over 100$. the over priced parts fyi gas tank and engine mount and tire set can be found other places for cheaper. A new savage is almost 700$ 🤬 if you don't mind build it you can save 🔧✌️👌👍💯🏎️
