Hey guys… great podcast as usual..…. I don’t know if you all ever done this but I think it would be cool if you compared DAWs to students…. Like “who would be the bully?”….the nerd?… the jock?…. and so on….. or what school staff member they would be…. You could do this on any of the education levels…from elementary to college…. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ Because I don’t recall ever hearing you use that comparison…if you have… please let me know what episode it was!!!
I’m surprised you guys haven’t shine light on the under used meldaproduction plugins. Their plugins are way more advanced than most and has it own saturation knob on each plugin . Slept on big time🔥
I definitely use them on every beat I make and usually at least one while I’m mixing

For my noise reduction plugin. The one that always helps me out while live streaming and vocal recording is the UA version of C-Suite C-Vox. It helps me take out room noise, fans, AC etc. You guys should DEFINITELY check that out and speak on it!

The splitter tool in Studio One allows you to make ANY plugin mid\side and multiband!! Yall still sleeping on Presonus??
I've been looking at this. We really need this for FL Studio.
Pro Tools = Netflix. Abelton = Hulu. Logic = Disney. Studio One = Max. FL = Paramount. Cubase = Peacock.

The closest thing to what L.J. was mentioning regarding “adding” missing sounds/frequencies is RX’s Spectral plugins. The only restoration plugin I know that can generate missing frequencies in audio. I use it a lot for dialog edits.

IN LJ's DEFENSE!!! I also thought of a multi-band gate a while back and was wondering why it didn't exist... It would be cool and useful to have a simple way to gate specific frequencies without having to work through all the knobs of a compressor

Logic is Netflix…was there a couple years after Hulu(pro tools)..a behemoth and a balanced all encompassing platform. Recording can stand with Pro Tools, production side can stand with FL and Ableton
