In other words, you can feed back power into your home or even the public grid with every CHAdeMO car, and use it for solar storage. In another attempt to delay the transition to EVs, VW introduced the unwieldy and stupid CCS plug. But don't worry, Hyundai figured out a way to feed energy back via CCS, and since VW own the German government and CCS, they will hurry up and present a solution for CCS V2G of their own and make it the European standard.

    Hi, about under 0% buffer, on ct200h hybrid remaining range was a little strange to me at first. Range falls to 0 based on (I guess) estimated range and left about 50km below 0. Sometimes low gass orange warning appears after the range reaches 0. This is very conservative and most cars will show range including the one remaining on low gas warning or won't display the range under 50-60km remaining.
    Maybe lexus has kept this conservative way of showing remaining range on EV. To be sure that the client will not be out of juice without obvious warnings of the car.

    Did you try the hybrid assistant app to display live stats of the battery pack? It is designed for hybrids of course, but on my Lexus (hybrid fossil) it displays SoC of the 'self-charging' battery, stats about regen and consumption. I use the same OBD plug as you do. Since Lexus modified a Fossil chances are it uses the same params on the obd bus.

    - No motorized lift gate
    - No navigation
    - Noisy cabin
    - Small battery (by todays standard)
    - Chademo
    Why is it called a Lexus? I thought that was supposed to be Toyotas luxury brand...

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really think they tried to bring something because they realised how late they were. Also I think the biggest marketing failure was that they branded it the UX. Every other car manufacturer branded their EV as a new model so buyers couldn't compare it to the (technically exact same) model in their line-up. It makes no sense financially to pay an extra $20,000 - $30,000 here in Australia for the EV version of the exact same car (UX200 or UX250h) because with the cost of electricity vs current petrol costs it'll take almost 700,000klms to get your money back! (Yes I've done the maths in my latest video 😂)

      The car is quieter inside than all other cars. Like any Lexus. Thats why humans and measuring equipment think its loud because of wrong tires which are too wide on bad roads.
