I fully didn't expect to see him so passionate about it, he made lots of valid points, feral animals of any kind are bad in any land and needs to be dealt with in a humane way, but needs to be done

In the UK activists fought for years to stop badger culls (periodic killing to keep the populations in check and to try to control bovine TB which affects cattle and scientists thought the badgers carried). They succeeded, the culls were stopped and badger numbers exploded (the most common roadkill you see by the roadside in the country are badgers, it used to be foxes). The problem was the activists hadn't really thought things through properly and didn't consider the impact large numbers of badgers would have on the food chain. Result.....hedgehog numbers, already endangered and in decline, have taken a huge hit. Badgers have been eating them and the reduced numbers of hedgehogs are impacting other species and affecting the whole balance. Now the activists are campaigning for hedgehogs, in denial that their actions caused the problem.
I have always been an "ask for forgiveness, not for permission" type of guy. I also have 3 ex wives.

PR move call them Swamp Cattle and start selling Hippo Steaks and Hippo Burgers. Just call them Swamp Beef like they call second rate sea fish Seabass.
