@nateginsterblum To be fair not all the way thru, I didn't know which Bible to pick. I used to search for quotes in the Bible and save it.

understandable. If English isn't your first language I would encourage you to read NLT or NIV translation. Otherwise, I would encourage you to read the ESV. Have you looked into the reliability and historical accuracy behind the transmission of the Bible? I would encourage you to look up videos by Lee Stroble or William Lane Craig.
