@@professionalnobody651 I used to to be King James Only. Now I’m King James Mostly. Who changed my mind? The King James itself. I’m not going to lie to myself or against Jesus and His Holy Apostles. When they quote the Old Testament and I look up the reference, and it’s different I’m not going to pretend that it isn’t. Also no Christian in History Had the bible as we have it today. Someone people only had pages or a whole book sometimes more. Most people memorised a lot of scripture. Perhaps whole books. They didn’t have the luxury we have today of being able to have a single compilation of scripture into one book. Are we going to say they weren’t Christian’s, because they weren’t rich enough to afford many manuscripts?

Hebrews 1:6 = Deuteronomy 32:43
Hebrews 10:5 = Psalm 40:6
Acts 7:14 = Genesis 46:27
Matthew 15:8-8 = Isaiah 29:13
1st Peter 4:18 = Proverbs 11:31
The quotes are from the Greek Septuagint. Even the KJV translators used the Septuagint I’ve the Masoretic text in some instances.
When they rolled those freshly guilded text blocks out I drooled.
Amazing! I bought one about a month ago and even though it is a little pricey, it’s worth every penny. Sometimes I just look at it and hold it in awe at how beautiful it is. The goatskin leather is so supple.

That was awesome! I have multiple ESV Bibles. From a white paper pocket Bible to the thinline and the Journaling Bible to my favorite study Bible! ESV and Crossway truly make quality products. I think it's safe to say ESV will always be my go to

Henry Bemis there are Chinese editions. The ones shown here are ESV heirloom edition, price is 225$. Not for people like me
fedoracore321 if you look you can find deals. I found a like new ESV heirloom thin line goatskin for $60. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a quality Bible if you look hard enough.
The lion's share of their bibles are made in China. I just received a study bible emblazoned inside with, "Printed in China". Buyer beware.

@@Nick-wn1xw I did. Reps from Crossway replied to me that they deliberately don't list where their products are printed. From the horse's mouth, not the website.

I have the ESV 2016 edition Study Bible. It is a great work of craftsmanship. The translation has become MY translation now with the NASB is very distant second place.

I love my brown two tone ESV Leathet bible.
Accept for all the errors, contradictions, and false doctrines it teaches, other than that it's a pretty good book. Lol

@@professionalnobody651 Thank you for the video. The video, you linked to, was about a difference between KJV saying Joseph and the ESV saying his father. Joseph was Christ’s earthly paternal guardian and to earthly eyes, he was Jesus’ father. To me, this is not a false doctrine but a difference in manuscripts. You even quoted a verse where his mother called Joseph, “your father”. Rightfully so you also point out that Jesus referred to his Father as God, but Joseph being called Jesus’ father does not change the fact that Jesus’ father is God. Even in the same chapter in the ESV, Jesus makes that statement about being in His Father’s house.
@@biblesonabudget213 yes a difference in manuscripts. The question is which one is right? The KJV is careful NEVER to call Joeseph Jesus's father. When Jesus was talking about his fathers house, he was referring to God's house. And Jesus corrects Mary when she called Joseph his father. And besides if you add up all the other corruptions you will start to see these are very strategic changes. In my opinion the video I just showed you is the ESV attacking the fact the Christ is the Son of God. And that's not the only verse.
I love my Royal Jongbloed Bible.

I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Bible from another printer ever again. I have 3 and absolutely amazing quality. Beautiful.
I was fortunate to buy an NLT Select Bible. It is a work of art. It was done by Royal Joengblud, but I do believe that the paper is really thin and this in the long run is not a plus but a minus. Crossway and Jongbloed should pick up the GSM Standard to 36 or 41 forever on all its Bibles. Jan. 2, 2022, Sunday.(Correction on October 31, 2022). USA North America.
Never knew it is made in my home country !

I see I commented on this a while back. Please make Netherland editions again. The Chinese are ok but we all know the Netherland made premiums are where it's at. My Chinese Omega for example is ok then again I've also heard some of the loose ends of the quality control have been tightened up since I got mine. And my Chinese heirloom thinline is amazing so I'm not sure... So.. 🤷♂️
Great video. Love this Bible. One thing I have to say is, I wish crossway would do better on the ribbons.

@@saintsheepy6682 from my personal experience, their premium bibles have mediocre ribbons. Very thin and not long. That’s just a personal preference though. My favorite ribbons is on my Church Bible Publishing water buffalo wide margin

Loved my large print bible and large print value thin line, its already premium for me even its from China. Cant afford these, too much in the pocket.
The bibles made in the netherlands are obviously high quality but I have some crossway esv bibles that were made in the usa. Now most are made in china. What happened? Why did usa production stop?
Really? Because my $130 Crossway Thinline Large Print fell apart within the first two weeks. Exactly how high quality are the materials?

Crossway you should update this and show how your premium bibles are made in China now instead of by Jongblood since you no longer use them. Schuyler, Cambridge and Allen use Jongblood for their premium bibles.

Just curious so the workers who work there, are they Christian? I mean making a Bible touching it, being a part of the process of it, it makes you actually want to get to know Christ.
I wonder what it looks like now that they’ve moved to China.
workers experience shakedowns after each shift to make sure they're not smuggling a Bible back home probably.
Question to Crossway - MY ESV Study Bible says "Printed in China" on the second page. WHY are you representing the ESV as being made in Europe in this video? An honest question I think.
This is just the printing for their heirloom high end ESV. Not all of their bibles are printed at this location. Jongblood is a high end bible maker for many of the high end bible publishers.
What do you think? The video gives the impression to me that ALL ESV Bibles are printed in Europe by craftsmen. I have a 1st Edition ESV Study Bible and it says it was printed in Europe and has French Milled Paper. It appears that Crossway got cheap on us.
Mike Manners The video title clearly specifies it is in reference to “premium” ESV Bibles, not all ESV Bibles.
Almost ALL Bibles are made in China now Mike....that is standard procedure. With their slave labor and low wages they can print a decent quality Bible in China and ship it to the States and STILL undersell a Bible made by Americans. That is the unethical/criminal way business is done now World Wide. The Illuminati want to destroy Americas Manufacturing Base and re-distribute the Wealth among Nations. If they can destroy our Middle Class they can have a mass of poor, struggling populace to agitate and control. Read Marx.
If you have a question for Crossway why not go to their website and actually ask them? It may be an honest question but it’s a rather thoughtless one as they did right up front say it was for the heirloom quality bibles.
