Hi, I have some tips for you. Try to use a plastic flathead stick to unplug the connectors! You could risk it to puncture it!! I made those mistakes too as a beginner, also the first thing you have to do when you open a phone is UNPLUG the battery! You could fry some of the components. Also please don’t spray alcohol all over the battery, it could catch fire because of that! I appreciate your work, but those phones are very important to some people, you’re just risking failures. Also those tips are very good for other beginners! So please guys, if you have no experience, take your time!!! Don’t do it too fast because then you are going to make mistakes.. I made my mistakes too, I learned from it. I’m trying to help you guys so you don’t make the same mistakes.
Very nice, but I think reinstalling a new sealing gasket would have been the better choice.
Third party repairs man
1. Didn’t disconnect the battery first
2. Him pulling out the charging port gave me anxiety
3. Used some of the cheapest parts he could find
4. Did not replace water proof adhesive
5. Didn’t recalibrate screen, True Tone gone forever
6. You glued the battery back in so good luck to anyone that wants to replace it some day

Here’s two tips:
Always disconnect the battery before disconnecting the screen. One time I forgot and completely ruined a phone.
And always put a water/ dust seal back on or the phone will get filled with dust and not be waterproof.

Jashan ❶ lol for real 🤦🏻♀️the way he just glued the battery back in, didn’t disconnect the battery before the other components, not to mention how it looks like he used the cheapest replacement parts he could find. Also he didn’t recalibrate the screen or even replace the waterproof adhesive
