Hi RGL, is there a way to get cards that have been listed to go back into the recently added filter. For example can you put a card in ready to ship for a while and then put them back up for sale?
It will go back, but not to the top of recently added. It will go back in order of where it belongs. You can’t just keep cycling a card through recently added like that by taking it offline and putting it back for sale again. To get it into the top of recently added you need to put it through COMC pregrade or get a new elite scan. You need to generate a new item number for it basically
Great video... Is there any way to figure out potential transaction volume be it sports card by sports, tcg cards or even comics. Trying to figure out what my churn rate could be as I plan to submit sports cards tcg cards and/or comics. Trying to figure out a plan on what to expect if I were to sell product especially given the start up costs.
Unfortunately no, not possible to find a churn rate. If you submit better cards, and they're highly liquid, and you price accordingly, you'll sell more cards. There are too many variables in sports cards to even put a strong guestimate out there.

Great question. In the past COMC would uniquely identify their consigner's cards with a 3 digit code. If you were able to figure out what your code was, you could search that in COMC's ebay store and save it for later. They've made a lot of changes over the years. I think in order to find your code now you'd need to find a multi-card listing that has your card and exact copies for sale. Your unique card should have your 3 digit code. I think that's the only way now.

How does COMC charge for shipping on my cards for sale. Should I have $0.00 shipping. I notice you have some for $.25. Say the person wants the card shipped to them. What is the best way to this and not loose money? Thanks. Gary

I'm seeing few specific COMC sellers list a bunch of cards that are worth 1 or 2 cents... and they sell these by the dozens if not hundreds. I'm thinking they cannot possibly pay 50 cents for each card or they just wouldn't be in business. Thanks
Nope, COMC doesn't do deals like that for largescale consigners, at least never during my time from 2012-2020 with the company. The previous listing price many years ago was 25 cents. ePack cards (mostly hockey and non sports) can be transferred from UD ePack platform for free. Most people selling cards at less than submission fees are just trying to recoup anything they can. In my next video you're gonna see I sent in a TON of cards unknowingly that I'm gonna have to take a loss on and sell for less than what I paid to put them up.

It makes complete sense because the cheap cards i was referring to are indeed often either hockey cards or other Upper deck products... animated characters and what not. COMC builds shipping in. Just price the card at what you want to sell it for, less their 5% transaction fee.

Do you ever have issues with comc not refreshing correctly on the recently added page? Seems like it’ll be delay then a bunch of cards will pop up.
All the time. Their servers have been abysmal for over a decade. The whole website is built on ancient technology.
