- Class is BACK in session! After a lengthy hiatus I've decided it's time to teach youtube everything I know about COMC.com - Check Out My Cards. In today's master class we discuss what types of cards I personally recommend that you should be submitting to COMC to sell quickly and efficiently. We'll go over why I haven't submitted cards in 3 years and show off a few hundred of the 6,500 cards I recently dropped off at their headquarters.
Coming up in Episode #2 once these cards have been uploaded into my account we will be going through and pricing some of them out and I'll be offering my best tips when pricing out cards to sell on COMC.

Thanks for starting this COMC series! This video was very helpful. My biggest barrier to selling on COMC is figuring out what to list. My fear is that I pay 50 cents or a dollar to list a bunch of cards and they don’t sell at a decent price or at all. This video was helpful. I’ll try to send some cards soon.
Completely agree with what you said. COMC is great for collectors and I would rather give a 2 dollar card away to someone who wants it than horde them for no reason.
thanks for the video. it just so happens that I sent in around 20 cards to comc as a small test to see how it all works and now this video was in my suggested videos. This is great. My cards are at the COMC warehouse and I am now waiting me 2 weeks to have the cards uploaded. I cant wait to see what the rest of the process looks like (pricing, selling, offers, withdrawing funds etc)
Big fan of comc. I've sold just over 13k worth of swag over there... all cards that I didn't care about. Saves a ton of time and energy. Right now I'm working on the 2021 topps walmart foilboard set that is #/790... up to around 430 of the 660. Every card was bought from comc. Been a fun little low end set chase.

Thanks for the info RGL. I've been collecting a nice stack of various cards from breaks and pack openings. About 10000 cards since the pandemic. This should give me a decent platform to control my cards and keep the wife happy...that it's not overwhelming our basement! Thanks again!😊

Thank you for the help. I live on an island in Canada where there is no sports cards stores, and the only retail place for cards is Walmart. I will start looking into COMC so I could finally sell some of my cards ive been holding onto for a while now. I appreciate your videos :)
Awesome COMC tutorial. Made my first flip on COMC a few months ago. Only made a few dollars profit but I was super stoked!
How many cards did you send in? There’s got to be a point where you go safety in numbers. Even the ones worth less than .99 is better to take in the cost than having them taking up space. I see it as a similar to a small cost for recycling ? Cheers

I live in WA too RGL & even in Snohomish county, you should absolutely open a LCS. That would be awesome, great video thanks for the info 👍
7:06 FYI,
I noticed that your gaming cards (Pokemon) are mixed in with your sports cards. You have to separate them or you will be charged an additional processing fee. YIKES!
You can keep them in the same box, but they have to be clearly divided from the other submission.
I have the same Top 10 goal. I’m currently in the Top 100. Getting there slowly with 20k cards at $200k+ listed inventory.
Are you aloud to send raw sports and Pokémon and then also some graded cards in the same boxes? As long as everything is separated?
@@TNT-vn6cm Yes. Just as long as they are clearly separated within the box. For example, if I have separate categories in the same row box, I put cardboard dividers between them. I then place my submission slips on top of each section. The processing team is very competent.

Are they going to take the cards/slabs out of the sleeves to take pics? If so, do you think its ok to leave in old scratched up sleeeves, or should i put every card in a new sleeve?
You make a great case on using COMC and I know many area like me and would love to have someone do all the leg work on selling the lower valued cards. One other person that has told me about them is Hobby Hound which is a good friend of mine,
About 2 months ago I sent in 160 or so cards to COMC after not selling them at a local card show. Selling them all on ebay seemed much more daunting than just sending in a 330 count box with all the relics/rookie parallels and other crap I never should have opened over the pandemic. It definitely made me feel better know I've got around 500-600 that I can get from there for only minor effort. I chose 50 cent sub just because I don't plan on flipping long-term, so come June, hopefully my account will have some nice cash I can use on singles I actually want.

So you have to submit a price for each card submitted, or is it an auction style?

I decided to go with the 50 cent a card to COMC and it was a huge mistake. That was 8 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to get uploaded. Definitely worth it to go with the $1.00 a card and get uploaded faster.
Great video and info bro! I'm assuming all of those cards are not Grade worthy, hence why sending some of those to comc.
If you have more than 5000 cards in comc. They have 50 dollars a month membership. You don’t have to pay storage fee if you list your card under $2.50. It is tip for you.
You should do a break-down video of price differences between listing on COMC and feebay.

So are you aloud to ship everything all in one box? Like Pokémon and sports and also maybe some graded cards all the same box? Or do I have to split up
do we have to enter the card info into a database for listings or is that their job? I only sell on ebay, but i dont want to use their PWE shipping method for lower end cards, just to avoid lost items or negative feedback.
Comc will do all the work for you. The only way you do price the cards on comc

What’s the best way to look for possibly gradable cards? Do you have to sort by raw vs mint?

Can you talk about the storage fees in one of the videos?
My order is starting to process finally after 10 weeks. A lot of the cards are getting good to vg grade or NM grade. Most these cards are from packs that I pulled then top loaded right away. Some even got poor grades. Have you been dealing with this?

Make sports artwork with them or throw them in the garbage. They don't sell.

The 50 cent charge is upfront.

I buyout collections and everything 2.50 to 30 bucks I send off to them. I just dont need the part time job that selling on Ebay would be.
Did my first shipment to them of just 44 cards via select and they said they received 65. First, 6 cards uploaded are not even mine... 😂 so far customer service hasn't responded.
I have to expect many members of their team are reading the comments here. Drop your username and maybe someone will take initiative and help

Does COMC charge more to process thicker cards like relics/spectra?

you need to stay up 2.50 dollar cards.. as you likely will have to put on sale for 20 percent off then pay 50 cents to list and 20 percent to sell and cash out..
Please dont forget theres a 10% fee to withdraw your funds
Correct. 10% to get straight cash back.
Alternatively, it's 6% to cashout to Blowout Gift card ($1000 or more), and you can always purchase a big card on site and try to sell it elsewhere for less fees.
Curious about the cards in the One-Touch. Will those incur a $0.50 removal penalty?
Those are considered "encased" by the manufacturer and would lose value out of that package so will be sold inside it with the seal.
Any UD cards that is sold on ePack is worthless. The ePack users always have a race to the bottom.
